Not under scholarship program you are currently in. but better ask Admission Office or other responsible department for your status before paying.

Nah they changed the code for foundation studies from FYSSS to a more specific code depends on the leading course in degree.
U mean normally the amount of fee covered by the scholarship will be listed in the bill as well? Or they just refund it after the payment?

Well I didn't took scholarship for foundation there, so I can't tell.
But my advice is to go to Admission Office / SAA find someone to provide briefing into your situation, because the management in UCSI is kinda flip-flop here and there doh.gif

Would just recommend you go to Taylor's if you have the money laugh.gif
Personally if you don't mind climbing up and down a slope at UCSI, be my guest, Architecture Studio is at normally Level 2 and 3 of highest point of Taman Connaught.

Got dedicated classroom la. But not sure you will be happy there or not.

Hi everyone, I am planning to do my degree in Computer Sc, and after looking at the news about their ranking, noticed that UCSI seems to be a good place to start off. Before i make any decision, just wanted to get more information from the people who are currently studying there.

How do you guys find the environment? And the education quality? I am looking to get into Bsc Comp Sc. Any kind people from that faculty can share their experiences?

Visit campus and see yourself. You can just walk in see around.

Personally I think it is an horrible place to study, not sure about Computer Science Department, since I'm ain't from that faculty.
If you have no choice, and had to come here, you are welcomed to stay, but I did warned ya smile.gif

I think your classrooms should be at Level 4 of the Block B Library.
Computers are quite old dated from Intel i5 2000 series, monitor are those old 17" LCD panels, haven't decided when will upgrade la.

Don't judge QS ranking la. If you see UCSI's QS Ranking properly you know "Academics Reputation" isn't their first priority.

Hey just wanna ask how's the KL campus like? I hear from people that it is cramped and shabby, is it true?

Also, are the lecturers there competent? I know that bad lecturers are in every uni but just wanna to know the overall quality

Planning to study bsc in actuarial science, is it true that ucsi offers max exemptions for both SOA and IFOA?

You mean Block E and G?

Block E - Half of it is used by UCSI Subsidiary Company - LeQuadri / Aromas.
Only Level 2, 3, 4 are usable out of the 11 floors by students.
2 and 3 are dedicated for Architecture Students, while Level 4 are Engineering Workshop.
Level 5 to 9 are Hostels and Hotels for students and guests...

Block G - half of it is student parking lot.
Level 1, 2 are only classrooms. While the others are office spaces...

Students hardly will go there. So you ain't missing that much.

Block C needs serious revamping tho. So sad, gloomy and old sweat.gif
All the students are forced to cramp in this block, every since Engineering and Architecture Students moved back from NW to SW.
