Yes, i also heard that it is full. A few of my friends mentioned to me that it was full. It must be quite a popular programme and well recognised. There is only one intake for it,in July, so suppose it is first come, first serve.

Not entirely sure, but I hear that it'll be fine as long as you have way surpassed the minimum band score for the English tests, (MUET: Band 4 min but preferably 5 & above, IELTS: Min Band 6 but pref 7 and above) TOEFL would be  570 minimum. Please do remember that this is just the English requirement, you still need to do exceptionally well in the interview before getting accepted into the programme.
*
I think it would depend on if you are Local(Malaysian) or International. For Malaysians, you would need to do MUET, but the requirement is band 5. if you don't meet this requirement, then you will need to go through TOEFL or IELTS. For international, you will need to go through TOEFL or IELTS. So, i would think that IELTS is more preferable, because it has a better standard. That is just my opinion.

From what i know, it is not first come first serve basis. Those who got their places in pharmacy July 2012 had gone through a preliminary test and also an interview. Cheers

MUET is mainly taken by STPM and other government Pre-U programme students, I myself as an Malaysian A-level student am not required to take MUET but IELTS.

Hello, I have a friend who is now taking SAT but not SPM. Can he use his SAT result to apply the course in USCI? He is interested in design. And does anyone know ctually what is the equivalent level of SAT? O-level? SPM?

I am not entirely sure as I myself am a new student in UCSI. Go to http://lms.ucsi.edu.my/en/ and click the Course Enquiry button on the bottom left corner, if it says online, that means there's a counselor available to have a chat with you, you can ask him/her about this. laugh.gif laugh.gif

I've spoken to the counselors using the chat numerous times, never once they didn't reply me like what happened to you... try giving it some time for the reply? Don't switch pages, leave the page open.

SAT is equivalent to o-level and spm... actually both are same level... with SAT you can't enter directly to degree but foundation tongue.gif

Dont really agree on that. They are both 2 different kind of test. Sat is a test for Admission to us colleges aka university.
And o levels is just a qualification.

I would take IELTS. They ask for a much stricter result . It is much more recognized it seems, although MUET will also be accepted.

Both are ok, if you are taking STPM, please go ahead with MUET. Or else, IELTS may be your choice.

The Live Chat counselor always response to the enquirer, even you leave an offline message, they will reply you through email.

Ya, you still have to go through foundation if you have just done o-levels or spm. Considering international standards, spm or o-levels is grade 11 or year 11. They asked me if i had completed my year 11 or 12, which they explained that grade 11 is their spm/o-levels, and grade 12 is there sptm. It can get quite complicated.
