it is full.

Yes, i also heard that it is full. A few of my friends mentioned to me that it was full. It must be quite a popular programme and well recognised. There is only one intake for it,in July, so suppose it is first come, first serve.

Not entirely sure, but I hear that it'll be fine as long as you have way surpassed the minimum band score for the English tests, (MUET: Band 4 min but preferably 5 & above, IELTS: Min Band 6 but pref 7 and above) TOEFL would be  570 minimum. Please do remember that this is just the English requirement, you still need to do exceptionally well in the interview before getting accepted into the programme.
*
I think it would depend on if you are Local(Malaysian) or International. For Malaysians, you would need to do MUET, but the requirement is band 5. if you don't meet this requirement, then you will need to go through TOEFL or IELTS. For international, you will need to go through TOEFL or IELTS. So, i would think that IELTS is more preferable, because it has a better standard. That is just my opinion.

So do u think i take ielts is much better than muet?because i don't know whih one should i take .
*
I would take IELTS. They ask for a much stricter result . It is much more recognized it seems, although MUET will also be accepted.

oic, but as i know, with olevel or spm, you still need to enroll for foundation in ucsi.
*
Ya, you still have to go through foundation if you have just done o-levels or spm. Considering international standards, spm or o-levels is grade 11 or year 11. They asked me if i had completed my year 11 or 12, which they explained that grade 11 is their spm/o-levels, and grade 12 is there sptm. It can get quite complicated.

Lecturers for my class are alright. The head of the a level department, Dr. Nalina is an extremely strict lecturer in chemistry. She's one of the best lecturers around. Sucks hat we have very few students compared to other colleges though.
*
I think the strictness adds to the standard. Otherwise, UCSI wouldn't be able to keep their standard. For me, it was quite a culture shock to see how discipline has been enforced so much over here. It's really good though, you know you are at a good university.

Yep, too bad I won't be staying after A-levels, there aren't any dental courses here.
*
Ok, that must suck. Is dental care a high demand in Malaysia? Would you have liked to stay at UCSI?

Sure, why not? On a non-academic side, I enjoy looking at the hot chicks with mini skirts there.  brows.gif  Pretty darn easy to travel around KL with the shuttle buses and Bandar Tasek Selatan terminal too. And the living cost ain't as high as Subang's.
*
Hahahaha rclxms.gif Yes, the shuttle service is quite good. I still need to explore the terminal though. Abit scared that i will get lost. Living costs is much cheaper than South Africa, thats where i come from.

Greetings,
I'm from UAE, interested to go for bachelors of accounting, did kinda of research of my own turns out I narrowed it down to MMU(Cyberjaya or Malaaca) and UCSI. since I browsed the websites of the both the universities and every piece of info on the net. mmu leads you directly to MIA with appropriate work experience but its for 4 years and just around 6 to 7 fundamental acca exam exemptions on the other hand UCSI bachelors of accounting is for 3 year i guess without intern and straight 9 fundamental acca paper exemption. so guys here in lowyat since I'm not in Malaysia i really want some heads ups! from u guys. anyway I'm applying for September intake so whats its goin to be MMU Cyberjaya, MMU Malaaca or UCSI.

Regards

UCSI U offers co-op for all their programmes apparently, which is like an internship with a company in the field. It allows students to work directly in the field during one of the semester breaks. I heard that alot of students even get offered jobs before they graduate if they prove themselves during this co-op period. I like the hands-on approach. I should actually find out when my co-op is due.

Greetings,
Thanks a lot OG_Rob for your reply. Can you or any one can recommend me for MMU or UCSI?

Thanks
*
To be honest, I would go for UCSI. They have amazing facilities all-round, really good lecturers and an awesome student life. It's pretty amazing. Glad I joined this University.

Can you give a reason why I should not go for MMU melaka or cyberjaya?
*
Well, I haven't even heard of those other universities. I had been told to have a look at UCSI University, and when I did, I didn't look back.

Hello, guys.

I received an email this morning. It is Letter of Acceptance but not an official copy. How to return a duly signed copy of the Appendix 1 to the Registrar's Office? Can I mail the copy?
*
Yes, you can print out the appendix, sign it, then scan it back in and send it back to them. I did that and they accepted it.
