The "under 23 brazil" excuse is pathetic, brazil started with Marcelo, Neymar, Hulk, Damiao and Sandro all who are regular starters on brazil SENIOR team.. Moreover, I'd take Rafa over Julio Caesar and Jefferson; Oscar over Ganso. So essentially, brazil played with 7 out 11 players who would start in our A-team. Brazil CBs were terrible and the fact that Mano did not recall replacements when he actually could is just bewildering -..-"

fact is, argentina is senior team & preparing for world cup qualifiers while the brazillians are preparing for the olympic
because they dont need to play qualifiers.

if i'm in the same boat as mano menezes of course i choose to prepare what comes first, not the next 2 years (it's totally another project)

Just finished watching the Germany vs Portugal (a pretty insipid match) and split screen viewing  the
unfriendly & truly top class match between Brazil vs Argentina.
Marcello and Lavezzi were sent off to end what was an exciting thriller by Messi's hattrick.

Messi last goal is reminiscent of what a truly great WC player (ala Maradona) should be. Taking the match by the scruff of the neck. Single-handedly bootstrapped Argentina to a 4-3 victory over the Brazilians..

Thus convinced me completely that he is the One.

On the other hand; side by side (literally) in comparison CR7 was a no show i.e. he is a one trick pony IM(honest)O or showboat . CR7 can be contained by a superior athletic (faster, stronger  and quicker) footballer & yes he was boated or in BOATeng's pocket the whole match. 


Yes -he is the No. 1 right now. Against the Brazilians. Wow!
