Guys, I know this 1 is really noob question. But I do heard a lot of different opinion on this. Let say my 2nd service is 5000KM. The Service Advisor put on a sticker showing my next service is at 6000KM which is 5000KM from my previous service.
But some of the people say that we need to follow exactly our ODO reading. When show 5000 go 5K service, when show 10000 go 10K service.
Which one is true? I don't think the service advisor in SC will wrong. But what other people claim is also logic. Thanks in advance.
where got such thing..just follow the one on the sticker..in fact, some sc might write 6100km next service if ur 1st service is at 1100km..but to make it easier just service at 6000km..remember the oil used is meant for 5000km/10000km..

Hmm, IINM the semi oil is 5K and fully syn is 10K right? Thanks for the reply bro.
i think perodua only uses semi syn for myvi..both 5k and 10k oil..other is mineral oil 5k..i think mineral oil is an option for old perodua car like kancil and kelisa..correct me if im wrong..they can service with this oil total about rm50 for filter, oil, and gasket drain IINM..cheap right? dunno if available at all sc or not..

u mean at the gear lever? that is the sound for the gear lever lock..it will be unlocked when we press the brake pedal and the gear is in P position..the sound is basically from the lock mechanism..
ouh.. since you guys said it's normal for auto car then it's fine for me.. 1 more question. When i close(hide) the side mirror, i noticed that the right handside lags a bit (3 secs).. left mirror will close first then followed by the right mirror.. is it normal too?
SC sucks. wont care. they just say need next time check. bla bla bla. last time i put there 2 or 3 days, they said done, i took back also same! very annoying the lousy SC.
u went to which sc? the one owned by P2 or the authorised dealer?
Myvi 1.5 auto , Just get this new car last month and currently just over 700KM
1. When the car speed above 100 or 120 , my car will have something like "terbakar" smell via aircond place , when slow down back , everything it will become to normal.
2. Today im going to port dickson , my car suddenly "DOWN" 4 time. Its like no battery power suddenly. When restart again , it will become normal again. or sometime it will down for a second then still can move.
i really need help , feel so frustration cause is my 1st car
1.did u select your aircond to outside air? 2.what do u mean by down? all power suddenly off?

Has anybody tried bringing their car to other authorised service centre to fix a problem the original/first service centre refused to acknowledge it's a problem?
i did..not because the 1st sc refused to fix it..but because they didnt do it properly..or maybe because the problem was on the early stage when i sent to the 1st sc before it got worse the few days later..then i went to the original p2 sc, they took few pictures, then fix it..
I just did my 3rd service at P2 SC in 11000km...then after service 1 day later i noticed the sticker showed next service in 21000km, then i quite surprised thought they used full synthetic oil or what... i checked service bill it was still semi synthetic... then i did quick check in service booklet i noticed after 3rd service.. next following services are 20,000km 30000km 40000km....
is that so ? why for myvi like that ?
that is normal..not just myvi..any new car also like that..just that some cars are 5000km interval..for myvi is 10000km interval..which good..because myvi is a daily ride car..not a weekend car..

Yeah probably. Cause i dont hear many myvi's having this problem right? And plus its my first car. And i guess i'll do that if the problem still persists. I'll be sending it for 5000km service probably next week as the mileage is already almost 4600 km. And sure, any questions i will ask

How far is balakong from bandar sunway? Cause im still a student so i dont have the time to go there. And is the balakong sc good?
from my experience, they are really good. if u are from bandar sunway, maybe u can try the perodua SC at the petronas near roundabout before reaching the subang airport. i heard that place is good also.
i dunno about ur car..but i know someone using 1.5 can go up to top speed around 200km/h..that after a bit of modification..but when he still standart he can go up to 180km/h.for auto 1.5 not so sure about it..but someone said to me he can go up to 190km/h..but forgot who mention it..for myvi to go up to 180km/h u need to rev ur car until near red line then u shift gear..me on MEX hiway can go up to 180km/h..

i dont know about manual..but sounds like manual dont have any limit..and my SA said there is a limiter..even the alza auto i believe also same..i read somewhere that we have to adjust/alter the throttle sensor something like that to bypass the limiter..it wont rev anymore even with full throttle..
i dun think 1.5 auto have limiter..what kind of limiter??hurm..if 1.5 have limiter sure its gonna waste the engine potential..damn...better buy 1.3..since 1.3 auto also dun have any limiter..1.3 auto also can go 170-180km/h.. but if its about torque sure 1.3 lost again it..lol

watch this video u will understand..and i believe most auto users here also experience the same..and i believe that guy did full throttle from the beginning..about the 1.3/1.5 i still think the 1.5 is better when we are driving with 5 passengers especially..

i did not say 1.5 no good right..i mean why ur top speed cut until 160..because some of my fren can get 180 la..thats my point..and ur point showing this video to me??lol..
to show u that it wont go beyond 160kmh with 1.5 auto on normal road..maybe can get more if downhill..

Oh can give me an estimation on how much it will cost? Sending it for service tmrw. And just discovered my steering wheel is abit out of alignment. Its to the left abit.
5k km service is cheaper than 1st service..about rm100 if not mistaken..
juz service and asked them to used a 10k km interval engine oil..what i'm curious is they put a SEMI SYNTHETIC petronas oil...the gold bottle one..can this engine oil really last till 10k km arrr??..FYI its done at P2 Balakong
did u bring back the oil bottle? it is a perodua own brand engine oil..but im not sure if it is from petronas..
Was heading towards a traffic junction with no car going at 60km/h, then i notice the green light blinking then i hit slowly on the brake pad , but the brake didnt work! only got TAGTAGTAKTAK sound , i was scared shitless, so i just hit the gas in hope i can make it through the red light luckily i did, i tested the brakes few times moments later but it worked .
When i reached home and tried to turn and parked, there is this bump that i had to go through, the car made a loud taktaktak sound yet again.
