btw i have a question. i just completed my first 1000km service 2 weeks ago. i asked the service rep to topup my coolant but he says its ok, should be able to last until next service n i was like ok.
But yesterday when i do routine check on my car, i realized that my coolant level has drop below the half line, so do u think i should go to the service centre and ask them to top up or just wait until next service?

Almost every myvi having this problem... My friend repair in sc few times but end up also got this problem.

Btw, what elese to do on my myvi to increase power? Mine is manual.
Current set up,
Open pod, mega raisin and spark earth, ngk iridium spark plugs, crank pulley, 4-1 extractor and center bullet.

guys, any good recommended tyres to upgrade to? Looking for something that will improve handling and not so noisy.

Just got my Myvi SE 1.5. How come the air cond compressor sounds so loud? When it kicks in the engine goes from silent to WHOOOOOO. The lights dim for a split second and if I'm accelerating I can feel the loss in power for a split second too. Is this normal?

and another thing I noticed is that when the compressor kicks in there is noticeable vibration. Is this normal?

i changed my stock tires to Neutron nt8000 (195/50/15) today. Handling significantly improved when taking corners.

myvi 2006 owner reporting. i need to know if anyone of you who own this old model have install b4 a buzzer as warning in case you have forgotten to switch off the headlamp light after you alighted from your car during day time especially when rain?

according to some accessory workshop i visited, most of them don't do it. even if they do it, they said the buzzer is the loud type and not meant for this.

Do u guys have added this sort of buzzer before ? tq

just drove my myvi pass a flood. damn, luckily nothing happen.
the water was quite high until i lost my front number plate.
i guess some water did went into my engine when i check it, the engine bay was quite wet. dammit

ya so far nothing unusual happening. manage to drive it from cyberjaya all the way back to PJ after the soaking incident.
most of the myvis and vivas manage to go through unscaved  , but all lost their front number plates. 

The other thing you have to worry about is the alternator.

I would also keep the engine rev high to keep water out of the exhaust pipe

BTW, is this normal for the headlights?

The middle light where the arrow is pointing does not turn on. Only when I flash, then it comes on.
