Yes SE has Multimedia but it only applies to AUTO VARIANT. As for MANUAL VARIANT, they are only using Flush Type.

This morning I went to jengka & I'm from KL not familiar with the road there..wow soo many corners..sharp..downhill..I feel a bit scary each time taking corner..
After arrived at sg besi I go survey the bars. Actually I’m not planning to install the bars, I just want to survey the price but the sell person qoute me very cheap 18mm rear bar so straight away ask them to install it..
After finish installation, he told me that he make some mistake instead qoute me 16mm so I've to topup more..I've insisted that it not my mistake but I am rushing no time to take off the bar just accept his offer..ermmmm
But after installation straight away I can feel some different especially on uneven road, corners, braking..
So for me it’s a very good investment now I can take sharp corner with smile and full confident..
*
Yeap you would feel a significant difference after installing bars when going on corners

I just got my car....

Variant: 1.5 SE.. Multimedia

Transmission: Auto

Colour: Glittering Silver

My version of Myvi doesn't have Auto Lock.... sad.gif

Updated Bro! Welcome to the Club smile.gif Your Myvi doesn't have Auto Lock means its the new batch ones.

QUOTE(magnor @ Oct 8 2012, 11:51 AM)
I got my yellow 1.5 SE Extreme earlier this week and the first thing I did was upgrade the speakers. The stock speakers were rubbish. Even my laptop speakers sounded better!

However I have a few questions.

1) My fuel consumption is quite high. I only get like 8.5km/liter even though I'm not very heavy on the pedal. Is this normal or would it improve after the first service?

2) I would like to install autolock like my Kelisa used to have. Would this void any of the warranty of the car? It's really crappy that my 8 year old Kelisa has autolock but this car which is newer and more expensive don't have.
*
Your FC would improve after the first service Bro. No worries. The autolock question has been raised many times already. It's not P2 that wanted to remove it. ALL new cars are to follow the policy by insurance as they claim autolock has something to do with some safety issue. Therefore, ALL NEW CARS including Vios, City, Myvi and others especially CKD cars will have no autolock anymore

Hey Bro, I'm not sure if it can last 10000KM but what I mean correct is they gave me the gold colored bottle too. I just follow the milliage written on the sticker everytime after service. But if im not wrong. Myvi service interval is every 5000KM lol

Guys, just now my myvi almost cost me my life!!!

Was heading towards a traffic junction with no car going at 60km/h, then i notice the green light blinking then i hit slowly on the brake pad , but the brake didnt work! only got TAGTAGTAKTAK sound , i was scared shitless, so i just hit the gas in hope i can make it through the red light luckily i did, i tested the brakes few times moments later but it worked .

When i reached home and tried to turn and parked, there is this bump that i had to go through, the car made a loud taktaktak sound yet again.

Anyone encounter this kind of problem?

Driving auto 1.3 ezi standard edition, 2012.
*
Wow seems quite scary, imagine the brakes doesnt works when you need to stop the car. But the TAGTAGTAKTAK sound u describe seems like ABS (like what dares said) but still the brakes should work ma. I think please send your ride to P2 SC ASAP as brakes problem is a serious matter.

Agreed!! thats why I'm telling him to send it back to SC ASAP. Brakes problem is a really serious matter. It can cause serious accident anytime.

Went to perodua service today to change my caliper.

If i service my car other than perodua service service , which part will void my warranty, the engine? or every parts of my car?
*
Every part Bro. As long you service your ride other than P2 SC. Your warranty could be claimed as Void

I would like to show my appreciation by thanking everyone that attended the 5th Official LYN MOC TT. Thank you Bro Alfred Yap for putting so much effort into organizing the whole event. Thank you to the committee members that helped in the TT like Bro Inciktaktaopape Aliffayaqaf, Eddie Wong, Wayne Light, Shaw Nam and those that helped out for the TT preparation (Sorry if I missed out any of you). Thank you to the sponsors for the lucky draws. Finally, Thank you to every single member that attended the TT. Without any of you, the TT wouldn't be a successful one. Although I wasn't able to attend but by looking at the pictures, it seems like you guys really had a lot of fun which is really cool. Oh well, Hope that our next Official Club TT (6th) would have even more members joining it. Finally, have a good rest now and prepare for studies / work tomorrow. Good Night all smile.gif

I noticed a red dot that keeps blinking on the bottom of the rpm meter after turning off the engine and pulling the key out. Any idea what this indicates?
*
That's to indicate that your car is armed.

Guys is there a new revision to the Myvi last month or something? Because I'm about to buy the SE 1.5 and the sales agent told me the production month is August. But my friend just told me he heard something about some new features or whatever which were added last month. Any truth to this?
*
No Bro, didn't hear anything of the new Myvi has some revision. The car is still new which just launched only last year around June - Sept 2011. Therefore, i doubt there will be any revision until maybe next year or 2014

Need some advice here peeps, which setup do you think is better for improving handling.
Setup (1) : UR Front strut bar + UR 18mm Anti Roll Bar

                              or

Setup (2) : UR Front Strut bar + Gab sport spring
Since my budget is low I could only afford either one of this 2 options above thanks.  biggrin.gif
*
I would say (2) as GAB Sport spring would give a more significant improvement in handling.

Thanks for the advice earlier on the setups. Btw, has anyone experience " burned rubber smell " after acceleration for myvi 1.5 auto? I've pop up the hood and the smell is coming from the engine bay but I can't seem to see anything wrong with it. Hmm

Try checking around if there is any plastic melted or something?
