agree . AP set is definitely more value and dont worry about defects la...how often do you hear someone's camera got problem, especially with the high quality manufacturing processes these days

Brought rx100 to my recent Bangkok trip, and continuously amazed by it !

The DR, sharpness, color, WOW ! And the size, fit into my jeans perfectly while I was at RCA, and no problem to shoot a decent photos inside such dark environment, not at all !

The only downside of this camera is the battery lifetime, it left 1bar after I shooted only ~200 photos after fully charge.

Below photo shooted by rx100, under such complicated light, I'm very sure my a200+1750 and nex5+16mm cannot perform that well, now I can sell all my gears without any doubt !

will get my set next saturday. but i realize it does not come with external charger??

then i'm thinking to get this 3rd party battery 2 unit Power P2000
also this Travel charger

the reason is my setup for my korea trip of 10 days next year. i would not like to miss a moment of capturing picture (spam fest ).
or is there any 3rd party external charger is recommended? if cheaper? as there is another from Power brand which cost RM168, which i think i rather get sony original.

Bought it last week in Penang while there for a short trip .. I think it was 2150 cash .. But I saw Amex has a up to 300 cash back so I used Amex with a 3% surcharge .. Still worth it .. Cuz managed to get points + cash back

The cheapest I found was around 2050 cash in lowyat after Asking all the shops.. But he didn't have stock .. So no sure how true

If you buy from Hong Kong, will the set be entitled to warranty here in Malaysia? Even if it is, personally I would buy in Malaysia if the difference in price is not more than RM500.

Also, if I'm not mistaken new electronic goods may be subjected to tax at the airport custom clearance. Better check on this beforehand.

100% not entitled unless its stated international warranty.
