So, the GPS only for navigation only ?? because i heard my friend to told me some apps also need to associate with GPS !!! If GPS off, thats mean the apps is not functioning accurately !! isnt it ?????  shocking.gif
*
gps on means u get accurate info on your position to any application that needs it. if off, then application may rely on the network to get your estimate location (the network can provide your estimate location!). what applications need it? maps, navigation, facebook, foursquare, waze...etc. not that they can't function without it. but without it they can't get your exact location.

Well it depends on what you use it for. If you "check-in" all the time or use the maps all the time, you'll need it on for a better reading but if not, don't need to on it. Lol.

if the app is map or navigate than yes...need gps,but for daily use..not so much.cause gps need to calibrate each time you change position so suck up battery power

Will need GPS and Data but change the settings? How about turning to GPS on only when you use the weather app? Isn't that easier? smile.gif

There are 3 colors to choose from Dark Grey, Grey and Purple rclxms.gif
user posted image
I have bought one (Dark Grey), I really like the sandy feel which is conducive to hold icon_idea.gif
since its like hard case, once attached it, S3 feel more sturdy thumbup.gif
all colors can be matched either with white or blue easily  rclxm9.gif
highly recommended to every S3 user notworthy.gif
*
Will the casing scratch the phone when attaching and de-attached due to its rough sand paper surface?

for the inner side of the quicksand casing, it is a smooth surface
but the exterior side very soft, its not the "rough" feeling
so need not worry about scratching your S3 icon_rolleyes.gif

when an application is using your gps (i.e. sucking up power) the phone will inform u thru the notification bar at the top. is like a circle with a solid circle within. so one glance u know the state of your gps. for me, i leave gps on all the time. but only when i run an app that needs gps is when the sucking of power begins. so i can control the gps by controlling the apps i run. i prefer that way.

Have been waiting for the delivery of my phone for almost a week. (Yea I know it's within 2 weeks period.)
No signs of DiGi notifying me on the confirmed delivery date, still "Pending Delivery"....
Preorder via online store i guess is a wrong choice....
DiGi, always the smarter choice???? mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

Thanks! One more question biggrin.gif Is the casing thin or thicker type? How thick will the phone be after installing the casing?
