Anyday, I rarely lurk around LYN so I only reply when I get wind of this issues from other members. PM me if you need info as it will notify my emails which is linked to my phone .

I for one am pissed with EA delaying the VIP, but because we handle the servers we know what is happening (The backend servers not picking up Battlelog queue). It all started because they wanted the "Battlelog".

Meaning VIP will start when the VIP slot program works ?
So do this mean that all VIP subscriber gets 12 months starting on the date of VIP enable?

Physically MBT is not a service provide, you were right. But hosting the game and provide the game server to players, MBT is providing the service, so why MBT is not "part" of a game service provider? Also, they did promote in forum before isn't?

Not every one has bookmark MBT website and keep surfing MBT forum or website. Like I myself, I always surf around Lowyat forum only and probably I'm a "lazy" person to register an account even I subscribe the service from them.

About the VIP, you may change my IGN from oec88 to Markhov-dB. I just changed my IGN not too long ago but that time onwards I stopped joining MBT server anymore.



This explanation given by BurningSoul aka Q-Chan is really acceptable. At least right now we have a clear answer why some of the Singapore server ping higher than 100ms for no reason. I would suggest you to submit the complaint via http://www.skmm.gov.my/ or http://www.cfm.org.my/. I used to complain my broadband issue toward CFM and it really worked, they will have another professional agent to contact you and listen to your issue, but of course the moment you complain must be really professional and contains those necessary data and ping plotter if possible, show to them to see what they can do.

Just like sai86 said, most of us paid for it and in the end everything getting quiet. At the moment after I see so many reply and explanation, not to fully blame MBT server. The intention I open this thread is because we would like to have an explanation in the public as I believe most VIP slot subscribers are from Lowyat forum as well. At least from BurningSoul's explanation, with proper details I can see the root cause of why VIP slot and server status so forth.

My suggestion is, request moderator in this Battlefield section to have a sticky thread about MBT. For just MBT announcement or server update only, then the thread is supposed to have zero reply or comment, just only the TS do the updates.

I've received PM from gestapo yesterday, my main intention opening this thread like I said, is because of we as VIP, or some of us as VIP slot subscribers, were not inform properly about the server status and update from time to time. Until yesterday I visited MBT once, I realize there's a server change for about 2 months ago and they called it as "Evolution" type. At the moment at least every single doubt has been cleared and we all know what is happening with MBT.

gestapo and BurningSoul, since you guys, as a MBT administrator or person in charge, I can see the honesty from you guys after the long explanation given by BurningSoul. I've change my mind and I would like to keep my VIP subscription without refund. But I hope, DICE and EA will not let us down, and also...remember to keep all of us up to date, from time to time.
