Just bought a logitech G600. Gotta admit, the 1st couple hours feels a bit awkward using this mouse. The G-shift button is messing with my ring finger, doesn't feel natural as usually both my ring finger and pinky rest on the mouse pad lol Gotta spend more time with it to adapt it

Suggest you have a look at Logitech G400 / G300.

You are palm grip or claw grip? Give it some more time, you will get use to it.

Imma palm grip. The mouse is a tad bit heavier than my last G400. Plus, G400 is much more ergonomic so I foresee uncomfortable palm in the future since G600 is not so gold on the ergonomic section. Lifting up and gliding G600 is a bit harder since I can only grip the mouse with my thumb and my pinky. Since the thumb is overwhelmed by the G-buttons and my pinky missing it's gym practice for a few years made it much harder lol But I guess I will adapt to it in time ^^

I just wanna know what is the 'free-scrolling technology'? Is it the same as logitech's Hyper-fast scrolling?

should be similar.. basically it allows the scroll wheel to spin freely so that you could scroll to the bottom of a page in no time

im hoping that's the case. but most shops i've been to in lowyat doesnt have this particular mouse on display, so cant really be sure. even gigabyte doesnt describe properly what does the free-scrolling means.

Its awkward at first, but once you get used to it (take me about 3 weeks time since I brought it last month) it work pretty well expect FPS which I still prefer the G9 or G700. Also I recommended using smooth less friction mousepad like for example the Razer Goliathus Speed Edition, before that I was using on my QCK which is quite hard to navigate.

Overall the G600 has far ahead better software (same goes to G300 and G400) than the previous logitech gaming mice including the G700 but ergonomics and trying to lifting the mice is quite unnatural/uncomfortable.

Yes, like the name suggest, it's engineered to cater MMO games. It's sure hard to use while playing BF3 lol At first I bind all sort of things on the G-buttons for BF3, but while in an intense firefight, my thumb accidentally pushed everything and hell came loose lol Now I gotta unbind everything on the g-buttons for BF3 profile

Exactly what I think about the G600. If only they could reduce the number of buttons a bit and leave some space for thumb rest. That's why I feel G700 is just perfect but the size might not appeal everyone especially those those with smaller hands and those claw grip users (like me) lol

For claw grip, small mice are good rite. can easily move around.

g700 work fine for small hands. my little brother love my g700 even though he got small hand and he using claw grip.
it work quite well for him. i think it up to ppl perspective

been using a G400 for a few months now since my 318 died.It's a great mouse is just that sometimes my pinky tend to get tired and lay down on my mousepad, and when i wanted to aim right it's in the way. palm grip here btw

Thats normal IMHO had the same issue with the MX518 previously (same design) thats why I changed it to the SS Ikari a while back but I'll probably be going back to Logitech depending on the condition of my Ikari hope they have a wired version of the G700 by then, wireless is great but I have a cat that likes to sweep things down from my table

G400 is a great mouse. Heck, I even prefer it over my G600 to play FPS game lol my 1st gaming mouse is MX518. When it died after 2-3 years, I just went ahead and bought it's successor, G400, without much thinking. It's the best bang for buck gaming mouse imo.

did anyone know if Roccat Kone [+] support mac OS? Can't find the relevant info from their website...

yeap, with under rm100 the G400 is awesome. i still remember how the 518 collect my sweaty palm's dirt and how the rubber coating peels off xD. it served me well for 5 years

I don't think there's any dedicated driver for mac os. Does works tho even without the driver, that is what other user mention before.

aaah... thanks... then I think those profile setting thingy wont be available for mac user then. (asking on my fren's behalf, me still using RAT7)

just own roccat kova[+].. really a comfortable mouse for a mid size hand like me.. really responsive in gaming
