 Terminating TM Phone line and streamyx.

What must I bring to TMPoint if I want to terminate my phone and streamyx line? Usually how long does it takes?

It will take a long long time. My application of termination already more than 6 months, but my account still active. Make sure you get the photocopy of the termination form that you submit.

Seriously? I thought on the spot one? Because my TM streamyx contract finishes by 9 of June and on that day itself, I'm gonna use maxis fibre. So yeah. Any procedure?

Keep the proof of termination for as long as you can.

I received SMS from TM asking me to pay RM180 for a Streamyx + phone line I terminated 8 months ago.

Okay. So do I have to bring anything to the TMPoint for termination? I called the customer service and they require me to bring the modem and phone?

They terminated mine on the spot. But the finalized bill once they have accumulated the data usage is due about 1 month plus. They would need your ic thats all and a few paperworks for u to fill in.

Just got mine terminated today. If the accounts is under your name all you need to bring is your IC and fill in a termination form they provide. If its not under your name, a letter saying u got permission from the account owner and a copy of his IC.

Took me about 2 mins, since i had everything filled in already. The guy at the counter said my account will start to be terminated today, buit will take 2 weeks to be officialy terminate(no need to pay after today).

i terminating the stimix tis week also for my maxis fiber. yup u need to return the modem and phone. make sure they remarks it in your termination form and get urself a copy of that.

Can't we terminate online or via phone? Have to go to the office so back water wan?

I wanted to upgrade to unifi but they say no service in ma area. Any alternative? Other company now got caps right? Back to streamyx?

If you want to get your deposit...make sure you pay in full even it is the last bill AFTER you have terminated your phone line. Later, TM will reimburse the last payment together with your deposit as a check. You will get the check with a pink notice slip through post. I did like this twice.

If you do not pay the last bill, your deposit will be deducted from it: if they owe to you the remaining amount, it will be returned to you. Otherwise, you need to pay back the remaining amount you owe to them.

latest update, i just dial 100 to ask about my streamxy contract. they says i need to return the normal phone set and get terminate in any nearest branch. since its about 1 year contract, the modem and and cordless phone are belong to me. Maybe u do the same and check, pls share. thanks.

Contradict with walk in customer enquirers (at the branch) as they ask me to return everything. rclxub.gif

Now i dunno wat to do with my router modem, keep as rubbish or sell it, but who want

Right. but somewhere somehow my phone set is already spoilt. will they still accept it? haha! rubbish collector. So i guess i'll just bring my IC, the tm wifi modem, and the tm phone set is enough already right?

bro, i just go tmpoint to terminate my slowmix, i return the normal phone set will do. kasih fotostat ic all done. line terminate within 24 hours. remember ask the staff to photostat 1 more copy of the acknowledged red color termination form for u, in case future got dispute. Deposit rm 75 will offset in last bill.

Again, the modem and cordless phone no need to return if your slowmix contract more than 1 year.

I just called TM (11:09 a.m., 28/01/2015)

This is for business TM fixed line
The procedure is:
Bring authorization letter (if you are not the owner)

then

Bring salinan SSM

then

bring to TM Point.

You will then receive your last bill and
the deposit you paid will be refund after 3 months.
You still need to clear your last bill amount, TM won't auto deduct from your deposit.

Hope this is helpful.

2. I called TM this morning and got the above step to follow, then when I reach TM Point this afternoon, I got a different set of requirement.

I need to prepare salinan IC
salinan SSM (full set)
Company chop
(for enterprise)


I was angry that why the TM call center give me a different step to follow, wasting time.

so lesson learnt: Call TM center and call TM Point too, finally pray for good luck.

Dear Kent.

I also terminated my tmnet for business and then just received the last bill. Can I pay it online? I mean after pay do I need to get any release letter or not? If no then I think pay online is same right. Please advice how u do
