Yes I can see the differences ...... Cool stuff thank.

You need to switch off just before it go back to its resting position (while returning to its resting position), wait for how long you want it to stop and turn on again.
No wonder in the past I observe the intermittent mode timing is not consistent. It must be I accidentally turn off and on and changed the default unintentionally.

Bro, another cool stuff which I like is, while the wiper is switched to 2nd or 3rd speed during raining, when the vehicle stopped at traffic light, the speed will
automatically swiches back to slow, when we move again, it will goes back to the speed that we set.. rclxms.gif

don know how to drain the water out, but inside there should got coolant

one things really bother me is spare tyre
*
1. juz make sure the water tank is already cool down, then open radiator cap (top)
2. find the water coolant drainage socket, plastic - turn anti clockwise, flush all the water out.
3. start engine for one to two min - so that whatever water left in the engine will also flush out.
4. stop engine, replaced drainage socket (finger tight)
5. pour in RO water, till full.
6. start engine - water level will go down due to filling up the engine.
7. replace radiator cap (top)
8. done..

curious, is it PU for all the seat?
how long can it last?
*
AFAIK, its half leather & half PU for all CFE bold model. Meaning, the top front is genuine leather but at the back side where u slide magazine & new paper is PU..
Not sure how long can last, depending how u take care, need to nourish the leather with leather conditioner. IMHO, I felt fabric seats are more lasting then
leather seats.

Me too bro, coz my old W124 is almost 20 years, still using the original fabric seats till now.. Maintenance juz send out for washing twice a year. The sound
system in the fabric seats car will also sound better comparing leather seats car. biggrin.gif

Bro, two things...
1- My engine die off and after changing the OCV and reflash the TCU and ECU still the same, now they suspect the CVT problem and waiting the answer from technical team sad.gif
2- Regarding any scratch on plastic, just use the normal paint polish and the scratch will disappear in no time
Wish me luck (they are thinking to open and play with my gearbox icon_question.gif )

Not even one year, need to open gearbox liao, hmm... hope this will not be another Proton Perdana model problem.. cry.gif
Btw, all the best !!! bro..

do you expect me to go to service centre while driving in highway when it reaches 1000km?
*
Bro, I do not think it will void ur warranty by just 300km.. Mine over 450km doing my first service, SA did not say anything to me..

8 Litres left in tank if the warning fuel light up

Assume fc at 11L/100km

= 0.11L / 1km

8L / 0.11L = 72

1km X 72 = 72litre

So when fuel indicator light up, we have approx. 70km to go if fc is at 11L/100km  rclxm9.gif

AFAIK, we should not drive until the last few liters fuel left in the tank. My dad always advice me not to wait till the warning fuel light-up since I had my licence & start driving.. The reason is, it may burnt the fuel pump. While driving in various road condition and braking & accelerating with an empty tank, the fuel pump will sometimes runs without fuel, gets heated up and might burn the pump.. No wonder my dad 20 years old car fuel pump is still running till now.. biggrin.gif
Another thing is, if u want to keep your fuel tank clean, always pump your tank to at least 70% fuel, to avoid any unwanted material grow at the inner wall of the fuel tank..

Cheers.. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(mxsteven @ Mar 5 2013, 11:55 AM)
your info seems to be wrong... as i know the compression ratio of CFE is 8.9:1  read here below

One fundamental change was a reduction in stroke from 88 mm to 86 mm. With the retained 76 mm bore, the swept volume reduced from 1,597 cc to 1,561 cc. This was brought about by the very compact height of the existing iron cylinder block which did not provide enough space to increase the required piston strength or lower the piston crown to achieve the desired compression ratio.

Hi Bro Steven,

I can see that u are one of the enthusiastic dude here about cars & had done many test.. Would like to ask, if u know our CFE Bold able to map
to the steering paddle gear shift just like the preve' have?? hmm.gif

Turbocrazy,
Felt like i'd installed sports absorbers after 3rd day. Rigid n nice.
*
Bro, initially, I thought of that, replacing the stock absorber too, but somehow, went for autofoam to get the feel of rigidity first, coz wanted to get
rid of engine & irritating CVT noise. I scared if too rigid feel, then it will not be comfort.. bcoz I'd changed to 17" rim mated with 17/50/215 tyre.
BTW, may I know what brand ur using now? How much improvement felt on the body roll now (doing fast cornering)??

I used Autofoam as well, i think that is the best in the market right now from my opinion.

I always drive/test the exora cornering from Damansara tol (heading towards north) there is a long curve. I'll say the handling did improve tremendously from what i felt previously. Also when the car hits those yellow lines on the road it has less vibrations. Now sounded like more solid thumping sound.
*
Agree, I still enjoying the autofoam till now, after installation a year ago. Engine noise seem further away from the cabin & the rigid ride feel.. Can't wait to do the second round. The only negative point is the body roll feel which still need to improve. Are u still using stock rim & did u change the spring also??

Nah, everything is original...wanna to keep it that way for another year at least before i'll change aftermarket absorbers and 17" rim. smile.gif

I aslo did the sound proofing at the rear and front bonet. next is side doors, that should reduce the tyre sound in the cabin more.
*
Well, IMHO, I advice u to upgrade ur rims first, get the feel, then decide the type of absorber u want. Because I upgraded to 17" rim after autofoam,
the ride felt different again, even more rigid.. My preference is in between the two setting, not too soft & not too stiff.. I kinda' like the stock setting,
I might just change the 4 springs to lower it by 1/2" to reduce the body roll.. smile.gif
Btw, how much improvement by installing the front bonnet?? My friend, who is an enthusiastic dude, even go to extreme, by tinting his ride to 8 mils
thickness.. drool.gif ( his ride is estima la.. worth it mah.. biggrin.gif )
