Bro Kelate, PM me as well too. Thanks

PM to me too. Just received my EBP EB on Friday during 'buka posa'. Yesterday trade-in rim & tyre to light weight 17' rims & 215/50/17 tyre. Anybody put 225/50/17 tyre size, coz see had some space for 225/50/17. I feel not confident coz exceed 3% rule. icon_idea.gif

hi all..is it worth to buy proton exora bold EXECUTIVE CPS MT ? ..the price is RM 67,212.00...no enuf budget to get cfe engine so go for cps only..huhuh...daily use for working around 20km...once in month going back hometown klang- taiping....need opinion...tq
*
That model normally SA give RM3k+ discount. Actually CPS version also good for everyday used but you will only struggle/feel uncomfortable when climbing hill to Terowong Menora. Anyway with manual version you can play with low gear, hopefully not fully load. My MYvi manual version (Fully Sintetik Engine oil + X1R) can climb 80-90kmh to Terowong Menora with fully loaded, normally go to Batu Hampar for picnic & I like Taiping food. Where your location at Taiping?

I think CPS engine already stable/no issue compare with CFE + CVT.

May be that SC make any mistake! Try send to other SC next time. Proton SC also not same QC/Performance.
May be we can share(pakat) to list down the Good Performance SC & Below Performance SC for reference. Anyway we could start from your SC. How! hmm.gif

just want to ask whether proton will kacau if we installed Grounding + Voltage Stabilizer??
*
I talk with my SA during first serviced. He mentioned GC & VS consider performance part, proton not installed it to save cost. He said install it not void warranty as long as we not disturb/alter/adjust the original wiring/cable. Anyway he adviced me to install good quality cable & VS, Otherwise wasting our money. He also mentioned not all car will improved or only small improvement even with highend/expensive GC & VS. May be I will try it with eric coz got warranty!

Inspira original tyre 205/60/16, better go to 205/55/16. Coz Inspira tyre diamater over 3% tyre upgrade rule compare with Exora original tyre. icon_idea.gif

My previous experienced used aftermarket drop-in air filter like K&N & etc not void warranty but make sure you replace back the normal/oem when send for service coz they will clean it with air gun. Aftermarket washable air filter will damage if clean by air gun.

I calc it several days ago, exira 195/65/15 then mine 205/60/16 is around 2.x% oni.. Maybe i didnt ser it clearly lol
*
Yes correct! I calculate base from my Exora Bold 205/55/16. If calculate from 195/65/15 the different only 2.73%. From that idea meaning Exora can fix till 235/45/17. may after this(next year) can try put 215/50/17 at front & 235/45/17 at rear. Good for grip & safety but may be worst for fuel consumption. May be look like X6 tyre, hehehe biggrin.gif

Dear all sifu,

It seems that the grounding has yielded quite a number of benefits. Anyone know of any shops that can perform grounding for ppl who can't do DIY like me? Please do recommend...
EB normally good with 5 points GC. Try with eric(free installation) refer: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1495749&hl=

Don't forget asked for warranty. Most cheap HKS GC cable fake/clone, ori HKS cable expensive.

1. Regarding about the grounding whether will void warrany
- SA told my wife that this will void warranty cause it will disrupt the electrical circuit of the car and also part of modding.

If that case we need took out the cable everytime send for service.

it was a general guidance... the minimum requirement for preventive maintenance for the car... the semi synthetic is the minimum grade.. u could go for the better EO, such as fully synthetic should u want to...
*
My friend (Merdeka Endurance Race car Engineer) give me simple guide, for Turbocharge engine just stick with 10W__ semi/fully synthetic oil for first 20,000km & can consider 5W__ after that. But 10W__ fully synthetic oil not many brand/company produce. Last time found Selenia Abarth/Gold (now own by Petronas for Racing - http://www.pli-petronas.com/products/am_selenia.aspx), Liqui Moly, Redline & Castrol Edge (most supercar use this like BMW M series). I will stick with 10W__ semi for my EB coz 10W fully price 2/3 times higher.

Normally I change other topics when he try give detail explanation about it, coz I'm not really understand it. brows.gif

I did bought the HKS cheap grounding cable RM12 bucks per set only. The different I found was, the cheaper ones has lesser strain of wire, while the much expensive ones have more strains. Before DIY, I try pulling the cable lug out, just to test how strong the cable lug attached to the cable. So, I found two of them came out easily.. Not happy with that, I decided to solder all of them. I did not encounter such a "stone powder wire" shown here.. If it is, then I would not able to solder it..
Pity the poor guy who got cheated  sad.gif
*
In my oppinion, better just buy medium size good welding/power cable & solder the lug nut yourself. Normally good cable price RM5/6 per meter only. Fake/cheap power cable normally contain 70-80% aluminium & only 20-30% copper. icon_idea.gif

It also happened to me when refuelling & engine still on(aircond/fan also on). Next I turn off engine before refuelling & no petrol smell in cabin after that.

Hi, just wondering whether the fan will continue to run everytime we turn off the engine, or when the turbo unit temp reach a certain limit? Wondering coz sometimes the fan didn't continue to run after a long drive but  did run after short drive.
*
This funny autofan also happened to me, may be the fan control not accurate. Yesterday, after 100+km journey engine fan not running when switch off engine but at night park it inside carpark the engine fan run nearly one minute after switch off engine. doh.gif

ha a Borg Warner model KP39 .. low pressure ja, if got extra money masuk garrett and change to Motec ecu, sure fly, hahah
*
Mod the turbo & ecu, gone 3 years warranty & may be insurans also not covered? No need send proton for service, repair your owned forever? icon_idea.gif

In that case better just buy recond Mitsubishi Grandis (Just call ZIZI 012-6810270 or MR TANG 012-2150646 for price below RM100k). doh.gif

lol, just an imagination jerk la bro, chillax, where got money to buy motec, unless you want to go for drag race to win some cash or amoi, (which is impossible for mpv) haha. summore need to aware that the VT3 cvt gearbox can only stand max 215Nm of torque only to be safe...
*
I know that is your imagination, I just give the affect in case any creative EB owner want try that costly idea. I don't think Exora engine will 'tahan' with that turbo pressure. hehehe! brows.gif
