exora dunt have anti roll.. normal acc. or performance shop sell only 16mm only.. if want 19mm can custom at uR hQ.. front antiroll is the same with preve UR, 25mm..

can go for absorber upgrade.. hilo or hilo soft hard.. i recommend hilo soft hard.. mine already install zerone ssr700 hilo soft hard.. very sweeet..hehe..who says big bulky car cannot layan lap huh..

In that case you should upgrade bigger rim with wider tyre for better cornering, may be 225/50/17 front & 245/45/17 at rear. After that put Caldina GT air scoop at front bonnet & BMW M5/Optima K5 air vent at side. Your Exora Bold become Sporty MPV. drool.gif

hey there :0 let me introduce myself first. my name is khairul, i'm 22, and i'm a proud owner of EB biggrin.gif just received my EB last week

Welcome!
What color your EB, CFE or CPS?
Hopefully problem free, if CFE version try pump full Ron95 BHP or best Ron97 Shell V-Power. You can feel the power of the Turbocharged. Try maintain speed below 110kmh until 1000km or better 3000km. cool2.gif

just brought my EB CFE to 10000km-service today. reported the tendency to turn to the left.

SC did alignment. i asked, how many times (every time i send to service?) should i do alignment and why it is always turn only to the LEFT?

i got this answer twice: because Malaysian road a built at certain degree, so the car will turn to the left. (safety measure of the road-construction)

this answer don't explain to me really good, cause ive driven like 10 other cars (not all mine smile.gif ) on Malaysian road so far (Perdana V6, Exora CPS, Kancil, Kelisa, Iswara, Saga, BMW E46, EVO3, Satria GTi etc etc) and ive driven on autobahn many times.
i never encountered this problem before.

any idea?

before this, same problem with GT Radial. Sent to SC, still turned to left. then trade-in with Pirelli P1 Cinturato. Did alignment, then 2 months, the problem comes haunting again.

the mechanic told me, this could be the "center line" of the tyre? i told him, how come i used 2 (TWO!) set of tyres, and the very same problem occurs?

he said, this could be a bad luck, that both set of tyres have the same problem: unsymmetrical center line

i wanted to say to him WTF, but he seems very nice guy. and im also tired, came with my dad, too. if you don't know the cause, just admit it. be a man! i can wait till proton find the cause, but don't lie laaa.

man, i typed very much today. bye² smile.gif

I solve the problem by changing/trade-in all the rim with Enkei & new tyre, until now (nearly six months) look like alignment still accurate. We know how unreliable quality of the Proton car, may be the engineer there still in learning process. 25+ years not enough time to them to learn, may be there need another 25 years. May be after 25 years later there will produce quality car like Hyundai/Kia now. That time Hyundai/Kia already like Lexus/Brabus quality. sad.gif

I am in the manufacturing industry. I believe the problem with Proton may be of the knowledge retention due to high employee turn over rate. Many engineers will jump to other companies if they think their salary is not enough. Is almost same elsewhere in Malaysia. In Japan / Korea, almost all peeps are employed for life, and rarely jump to other companies, that is why they can maintain and improve the skill & knowledge within the company. Remuneration of the employees is that important.

We could not expect a 3 years experience will be the same as of 10 years...

Proton supposed already found the solution for this matter for future planning/forecast, for example they should used Lotus(if still under Proton) as their QC reference/solution. Like Lexus for Toyota or Brabus for Merc.

Hopefully Proton will improve under Hicom. icon_idea.gif

For technology, yes, they can use Lotus, or as recently Honda thru strategic partnership. For QC/QA, the base quality management system for all automotive industry should be the same (ISO/TS16949, VDA, APQP, PPAP etc). It comes to the actual people who is performing it, e.g Product & QA engineers, QC inspectors, QA inspectors. These are the main assets of Proton that they need to take care of as these guys are the core resource that will improve the build quality of their cars.  nod.gif

Hopefully Proton will find the solution coz from my chat with my friend in Perodua Assemble Factory, Toyota bring in QC staff from Toyota Japan to work/help them. Hopefully Proton not give reason but find solution otherwise they cannot compete in this industry worlwide(future survival). Just imagine if Malaysia in future enter WTO/AFTA, all import car/vehicle without tax controlled. That time may be Exora Prime are more expensive than Grandis, hopefully not. shakehead.gif

User/buyer only want to hear solution/advantage not reason/problem. Even though the problem create by the user/buyer. rclxms.gif

May be that is Alphard with Engine 2GR-FE 3,456 cc V6 24 valve 280 PS (206 kW; 276 hp) 330 N·m & transmission 7 speed automatic super CVT. 138hp vs 276hp. doh.gif

hi im from Indonesia and i really interest with this proton exora, but the information for this car it still hard to get expecially in my country.

i want to ask is the exora bold premium still having the same problem with the first production? or they already fix it so the last product doesnt have the same problem with the first product?

thanks guys
*
New Exora Premium had better power compare than previous CPS, only little lag in first gear(proton CVT). Overall not much problem & normally export version better quality compare than local. Proton old attitude, hopefully change now. doh.gif

anyone done any mod to improve stability of our exora? buang while cornering is quite dangerous.

some suggested, bigger tyres. any improvement?
anyone using adjustables? or is it a crap to use that mods for MPV?
*
I trade original tyre & rim upgrade with enkei light rim 17' & Neuton NT5000 215/50/17 (semi soft/medium). Rear coil add with damper. I feel more grip(brek) & more confident during cornering or u-turn. May be if install with Michelin PS3 225/50/17 will be much better feel/confident & comfort too. Most important more safety. cool2.gif

That rim look like ori EB rim. If upgrade to 17" rim better using 215/50/17 or 225/50/17 for comfort or if want low profile use 225/45/17. From my experienced with 17" rim, 7.5" wide not at problem, I also feel rear tyre can put 8" wide. My advice try find light rim for good pick-up/power.

any significant different after apply on it?

i using magnetrap for better engine protection
*
I added Cerratec additive, now my fuel consumption reduce little bit from 10l/100km to 9.7l/100km & smooth engine start(tak gegar/goyang sgt). I prefer Cerratec coz just need added one bottle for every 4/5 times oil change.

Anybody already install/try E-Booster or E-Gas Hydrogen Fuel Saver, I read Exora fuel consumption will reduce to 7.5l/100km.

space shouldn't be a problem for me, max 4 passengers for me, and i notices exora really space-full. I'm always drive to work in a busy city, FC also my concerns
*
If you asked here for sure we recommended EB. Anyway if FC is main issue you better find hybrid vehicle or installed EB with gas or EBooster(Hydrogen). doh.gif
