Illustrator or photoshop can do it.. but care about the pixel.. coz it may become 'pecah'- ( dont remember the word..) when u enlarge it..

I've done this before in Photoshop a few years back when I have to decorate our class board, but i've forgotten how.

What you're looking for Panaromic Image Printing, refer to this site for more information.
http://www.panoguide.com/howto/display/printing.jsp

Although no photoshop tricks there, they suggests alternative software like cPicture or PanoPrinter. Worth a try and see if it helps!

OMG... you intend to print out tonnes of A4 to create a 16"x10" backdrop?! ohmy.gif
Why not just spent a couple of hundred bucks and have it sent out for large format inkjet printing?

16 by ten feet? That's reallly large dude. If u want to do it bit by bit. Try the slicing tool in photoshop.

i think you can actually set the printer to print it out bits by bits without slicing it.

it wont be a problem if you do it using vectors. i did one before which is about 6ft x 10 ft using adobe illustrator. i used about 3000 x 2000 of resolution....its quite big, i know..but thats theway it is.

but remember to use all vector and set the preferences.

by the way the terms 'pecah'2 is called pixelated.

by any means you're using a raster image...hmm..good luck finding a super dooper big resolution

suggestion if u wan to listen..

use corel draw.
draw 210mmX297mm (A4 size) rectangle and duplicate it to the in a row and column to fix in 16 ft x 10 ft. (Not enlarge the size).
Then use powerclip function to put the design inside.
(PowerClip Function is almost same like clipping mask in Adobe Illustrator)
Dont know how to explain very well..

btw, my company printing banner, why dont ask ur friend to give me do the printing. Better what. Haha biggrin.gif

If u print in normal printer, there is white border around the paper. So, it's will look funny when u combined it, unless instead of using excatly A4 size rectangle, make it smaller to 200mm x 287mm

Corel Draw file is smaller than illustrator file. It's about 20% smaller.
