Ori Samsung 2000mah need to change the back battery cover?
*
Yep, but dun worry, it will generally fit most flexi cases, especially the SGP ones made for the Korean SGS2 (the ones with the TV antenna cut out - these are loose with the ori slim battery anyway).

I'm using it with a Korean Walnutt hybrid open back / bumper case - cause if you notice the SGS2 was designed to eject (or at least loosen) the battery cover if you drop it too hard - not sure if it's intentional but it's useful in dissipating drop forces 3310 style.

haha yeah im jumping between Paranoid and Wanam from time to time. I noticed that generally Samsung Roms give better battery life.
*
Which is weird actually. I mean you'd think lean mean AOSP/AOKP ROMs with all the Sammy bloatware missing would save more battery. Hmmm.

well i duno isit just me or what lol. my friend using galaxy note also said that he noticed that his Paranoid uses more battery than his samsung rom. And also AOSP roms vibration vibrate sooo hard.
*
Hmm. I felt my Wanam setup uses less battery compared to my Paranoid one last time I spent a whole day testing PA as well. Nothing empirical, just a feeling. Mind you the PA build I was testing was kinda buggy.

Funny I'm not experiencing the "OMG ICS SUXXORZ BATTERY" issue either. Similarly configured, my Wanam ICS has BETTER battery life vs my old VR3 GB setup - both heavily modded mind you.

Holy shiat. I think my screen really "burnt in" edi. I have presistent shadows at the top and the bottom of my display that show the outline of my most used app in GB, xScope's control and address bars.

Now I'm not even using xScope any more, no reason for it to be "just a ghost afterimage". So much for AMOLED life expectancy.

Fucuk. I wonder if can claim warranty?

Hi all, I have tried out the new SCUD battery for my S2. Personally, I feel ok with this battery after all. I have been using this battery for nearly to a month. So far there is no any problems or issues for this battery yet (no tummy or explode XD).

My usage is consider moderate to heavy I guess? Compare to my buddies, I tap my phone more often and drain more battery. The apps I open is facebook and firefox(online photo editing mostly). Yet, I like to play Draw my thing <3, would play around 10~30minutes when I start the game. My house does not have wifi, so I open 3g most of the time. SCUD can survive around 5~6 hours averagely, approximately better than original 4~5 hours since I used my original battery for 5 months. I printscreen a few screenshots let ya people see see.

Mah rating?

I personally like to stay away from batteries that are named after explosive devices (SCUD = missile) for obvious reasons.

But you say it's okay so, oh well.

Anyway, pics of the only photo editor you'll ever need - that is, IF Adobe EVER decides to port it OFFICIALLY to phones (oh please Adobe please!).

As you can see the phone modded one is so squashed it's impractical for heavy use. But IT HAS LAYERS SUPPORT AND SAVES TO PSD WOOHOO.

Anybody tried running it on PA tablet mode?

I'm "waiting" for the new maps too.

Also gonna try the full blown unmodded tablet version of PS Touch. Supposedly it works on ICS on our phones, with tiiiiiiinie tiiiiiny toolbars.

when i install google plus, got an extra icon called messenger.

now i'm confuse, all android phones have google talk.
isnt google talk the same as messenger?
except google talk can call and video call.

whats the point of the messenger? i cant uninstall it, if i do google plus also will be uninstalled.

whats so special about google plus messenger?
*
Sum extra google wierdness lol.

I'm trying out HaxSync. Like Samsung Facebook Sync in GB with none of the framework bloat - me likey. Having sharp updated pics (damn you fuzzy Facebook app pics) + status updates right in the Peoples app = priceless.

Worth the 99ยข. The Facebook app can go dai (except for checking Facebook, THE ONLY thing it's okay at).

just watched the recap of jellybean presentation..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcE9t9hyiEA

low quality though.. looks really cooooool... if s2 not gonna get it.. i think i m jumping ship.. =(..

Personally, I'm waiting for next year's S4. You get Jelly Bean AND Key Lime Pie (if not KLP right from the start). And whatever far fetched tech they have by then.

Now? S3 = ICS > Jelly Bean oni (most prolly, knowing how Sammy does their official updates). Plus 1 measly GB of RAM (which I ALREADY have) and a pentile screen (which I do not want).

Or go Google Glass straightaway

Also I'd better make full use of my 2 year warranty lol, considering that sooner or later, JB WILL come to the S2, hacked up or otherwise.

I hella ain't jumping ship for an incremental OS upgrade lol. I already went from 2.3 to 4.0 on this grubby phone, it sure as hell can go to 4.1... brows.gif

*Although the S3's Wolfson DAC, USB audio out capability and the BSI camera is realllllllllly tempting to tell you the truth.*

Now, if only somebody can hack USB audio to work with the S2.
