Noob question. How to log out from maps/latitude? Tried but fail to do so. Thx.

G users, you guys use the official ICS update for few days already right?
still got camera hang, or any hang issues?

If you didn't sign in, then it won't show. Normally in maps, you will have an option to sign in to latitude. I just freeze maps as I don't use it so it won't wake up my phone.

I use the official ICS update and my phone wont auto rotate.
the 'screen rotation' switch did nothing and each time I try to do Horizontal Calibration the phone went to restart which is very strange.

Factory reset also gave the same result

that's why rooted ics is much better than the real ics..update really fast.you guys think if the problem is from the ics system itself how much time for them to to fix it?since it took sammsung long enough to make ics come to malaysia.so i give a suggestion b4 upgrading to,ics google for problem that occurs when update,dont just update it without any proper information

rotation is good.

the only thing is that, media server is running too long ...

example ..when u delete a file using stock file manager, the media scanner is running in the background; unlike in GB, u will see the status in notification bar.

so, after u delete a file, u cant take a picture using stock camera app, because the media scanner is running. and its too long ,

temp solution, disable media scanner

media scanning is normal, it runs in the background, but just the first time will be long only.
after that will be fast. non g also like that.

they seem to be a mirror app offering same features.


is there something that in apex has but nova dont have or vice versa?

app description cant tell much about real usage.
would appreciate if someone that tried both share their experience.

Thanks bro, but i was not signed in to latitude at all.....
anyway i tried to sign in and sign out thou...haha
i have freezed the maps 6.2 ... the moment i freezed it... i dont see the latitude icon in my menu anymore....hmm...
gonna monitor it for a bit...

btw... any idea why is my alarm manager having so high wakelock counts?

for some weird reason, i have 2 super user app.

i think the # icon one is the newer one.
how should i delete the old one? is it safe to delete?

i worry 2 root app will cause trouble for my phone.

last time i read, apex pro can put 1x1 widget into the dock area, which is very useful with 5 docks and nova didnt had, when i last read la, now i not sure got or not

i answer my own question.

nova vs apex.

in terms of smoothness, actually both seems same

but nova got more settings and customization.
it let you choose the notification number.
app drawer can let you create folders
can add more tabs in drawer.
also the gesture, got 2 more gesture which is rotate clockwise and anti clowise.

basically, nova prime, more features then apex.
apex lost.

there is nothing that apex has that nova dont.
