Bro... Is there any tips on battery savings??? I mean the most important part that u think can save more juice...???

How often do u make phone calls???

Mine now already 30% and is 7h 57m 55s on battery...  rclxub.gif

If dont mind can share some tips and pin it on 1st page!!! biggrin.gif  thumbup.gif
*
- use manual brightness instead of auto. set the screen brightness to 50% or below depends on how u like it

- disable 3G and wifi. turn it on only when you need to use it

- turn off auto sync if you want. you can manually sync time to time

- use a wallpaper with slightly dark or black background. AMOLED screens save more power when blacks are involved

this are the few i can think right now. will add more if i figure it out

My brightness is even below 50%, auto sync off, black background timeout is only 30sec...  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

maybe the phone consumes more if calls are involved... hmm.gif

my screentimout got no 45sec... got 30 sec and 1 min.....
*
manual brightness save more battery. the auto brightness is a bit sensitive and the brightness levels are sometimes a bit off, it dims too much or brightens the screen too much

the 45 sec is a bug i think. refer my previous post

I think, all standby input will always run such as:
- light sensor for auto brightness
- front camera for smart stay
- motion sensor for direct call, smart alert, pan to move, tilt to zoom etc
- screen rotation

If we disable all, we save more battery.

Take note about background internet data running by app we install such as:
- facebook
- twitter
- beautiful weather
- whatsapp
- gtalk
- YM
- chatOn
- google+
- 3G Watcher
- etc

If possible to logout, or reduce refresh interval from always connected or refresh every 5 minutes to manually refresh or refresh every 8 hours, than we can save more battery.

Just two cents tips from me.
*
IMO if disable those....then whats the point of S3. tongue.gif since S3 focus mainly on those features

i agree with the others but i feel users should not neglect the usage and capability of a smart phone just to save battery. if like this might as well use back 3310 tongue.gif

3rd party sms program??
there we go, i received new sms, but no sound again!

gotta realyl check with them, else i factory reset the phone? but all my contacts!
*
light flow lite is a app to control the LED lights. it got the option to control notification tones as well so i guess maybe that app overwrite your settings, if you got use it

you can sync your contacts to google account, then after factory reset, just sign in your google account and your contacts will be restored
