Hi Guys, I am looking to spend upto RM 100,000 on a car.

I only do short city journeys......in 3 years i have clocked 20,000 km only!

I would like something which is safe, comfortable and looks nice inside/out.

So far been looking at:

Honda Jazz hybrid
Honda insight hybrid
Prius C
Hyundai Elantra
Kia Forte
Ford Fiesta
Proton Preve

I have test driven all except the Preve. All were really nice-not sure i have a favourite! Prices vary from RM 73,000 to RM 100,000 ....big difference

What would you choose? Looking for comfort, safety, gadgets and resale value!

Get 1.6E minus NCD and salesman discount should be around RM100k. Not to mention Toyota is having downpayment rebate for any new Toyota Corolla Altis purchased.

Looking for comfort, safety, gadgets and resale value!

Not sure to lol or what, but frankly you cant get all of those package in under 100k.

Okay back to a more productive reply then, may i suggest a Vios G?

With your stated options, I'm assuming you're only gunning for the new cars, and every of those stated cars have pros and cons. So no, you can't have "Looking for comfort, safety, gadgets and resale value! "

My 2 cents.

If safety is important you have 2 options. Fiesta sedan (not hatchback) and Prius C. Forte 2.0 in the highest spec too, but not sure if you can get it at that price.

FC the Prius C should be best amongst these, resale value the Toyota should also win, although people may be afraid of replacing the battery.

The Vios is as safe as, well, it's not safe at all. Might as well buy a Proton (I'd expect the Preve to do better).

Exactly, Pro's and Con's. So do you just base it on which one you preferred in the test drive?

hi TS

whats the main reason why you cannot choose?

For me I would choose the car that speaks to my heart the most. (after i have made calculations using the brain)

Never ever buy Honda hybrid, its a big mistake if u buy, even proton campro better than those

The only car that worth to buy under 100k is preve, forte 2.0, Prius c , and inspira

get a 2nd hand kancl and keep the rest in the bank, wen you think you want to buy a car to reward yourself then do it. else no sense in buying another entry level vehicle.or just keep your current vehicle till you feel you want to get a real car.
