Is that photos taken in Mutiara Damansara SC? Nice and clean. Spacious too. Looks bigger than Glenmarie SC. How many service bays do they have there?
*
It is the new SC in Setapak. Glenmarie SC looks more like a car warehouse

I don't have this probs also.

My friend VW Golf, when reverse time, the radio volumn will be lower, because they afraid ppl cannot hear the reverse sensor sound if the radio volumn too loud.

I believe this is the dynamic/adaptive volume control. The audio will increase the volume if the car speed is high and the driving is noisy and will lower down back when the driving is quiet. During cornering perhaps the speed is lower, so the volume is turned down and once in a straight line and the speed is high, the volume is up. This is common for some cars.

You can set the level/sensitivity in the settings.

Nope, is the new 3s SC in setapak area.

Just got back home from SC.
Regarding the reverse camera, according to the supervisor there, they do not have such service to install the reverse camera. May be other SC got such service.

Okay, for your reference, service costing as follow:
- Labour, FOC
- Engine oil 1000/40 4litre, RM112.00
- Oil filter, RM12.22
- Gasket, RMRM3.32
- Screen washer (wiper use), RM5.71, is optional
- Magtrp, suck the metal from engine, RM68.00

Total cost: RM201.25

They also done the ECU remapping and disc brake checking on the front left wheel.
Things waiting to fix:
- Ordered the LED light for gear PRNDS
- Alignment not yet tune as the machine not yet arrived and installed at their centre.
Overall, satisfied with their services.

Few more photos I took during the ECU remapping. It is actually very fast only, few minutes kao tim.

ECU remapping is good for those car has a power reset, just like the battery take off, the engine take off due to engine overhaul or one way valve issue.

Otherwise, the car system will auto default to factory setting and not the car production delivery setting.

I got this knowledge from one of the Sales Advisor. Not sure is it right or wrong.

Not sure if they have the expertise to solve those serious problems like WVT, oil leaking, wind noise, etc...as my car does not has such issues.
ECU remapping does not need the CAT to fix gua...so easy job. I think I can do it also if they teach me la brows.gif

From my understanding, ECU remapping is just to update the software in the system, to fix the unstability or bugs on system. Like you upgrade your smartphone OS to higher version.
So, I guess it is necessary. New batch of Preve should comes with the latest version of ECU mapping.
