haha my HC char is for casual play for wasting time while waitin my housemate to online n continue our main char...so it's kinda inactive...lol

Don't worry.... if you need a leveling kaki, i don't mind leveling a backup monk right now.

I tried it last night using a wiz. So far okay, got to level 8 at and stopped at the skeleton king level.

My friend asked about hardcore mode and i told him can die only one time. He went "what's the point"...

to those who managed to beat Diablo in Inferno using HC toon....

Hmmm, HC char for normal is great, tho the higher difficulties, I think is best wait Blizzard patch up some of the dmg spikes in the current state, any HC player manage to beat HC inferno yet worldwide?

I had a lvl60 barb up to act2 inferno in SC. With quite decent gear, 900+ resist all. But still die easily in act2.
Fed up with the current class, wasting so much time but still cant progress. Start a DH, but felt bored when playing.
Didnt even play for 1 hour this few days, keep camping the AH, but couldnt afford those overprice item.

Roll a HC DH and the feeling is totally different ! You can totally feel the suspense and adrenaline when playing !
Every pull and fight i will lay traps and plan carefully beforehand.

Still remember yesterday i was chasing a goblin around the map and aggro 2 group of rare/champion packs, then it got to me f@#& this is HC mode ! Kite and kill them, but i was down to 10% life. Laugh at my own stupidity but got lucky that i did not die. Never had this much fun and suspense before when playing SC ! Oh yeah, the economy of the AH in HC is waaaaayyyyyyyy better than in SC

Now that i have started HC, i dont think i will ever go back SC

Now seriously, am I really that bad a player because I almost lost my 17 Barb on normal Act 2 yesterday. It was so friggin scary. All my cooldowns were used. I had no escape route, surrounded by elite wasps and mobs. The only thing that saved me was the waypoint nearby..... escaped with less than 10 life.

I felt it's best to at least kill Diablo or better yet get to lvl60 to get a feel/the dangers with a SC character, then you will be better prepared with your HC character.

I have emulated as if I'm playing HC char with SC my wizard, reached Normal Diablo, some where during the fight got careless/didn't pay attention and died in the hands of Diablo, lucky it's just SC character, tho I treat it as HC training.

what is SC ?

SC = softcore , HC = Hardcore , I am rolling a HC soon ^^
