actually standard decks can be very competitive...
beat several extended deck b4...
including a onlien white kngiht deck (all rares zzz)
land tax, the dumb blood ogami song is annoying!!!
and i couldnt draw my persecute at all...

ahahahhaha.. cool... hmmm ..yea..standard is crazy..but fun~!...extended is just plain mad la.. ahahaha... i rather not go into that.. aaha

playing standard is like fair, very limited cards and new strategy. extended is nice too but it is for one who can't get enough from standard. bringing the past standard deck into extended + even great cards awaits in extended. plus, there's always combo between standard card + extended card

and about Extirpate, I think it is the most powerful control card for now, don't you think? B to play, split second some more. even Lobotomy harder to cast. plus black already has Damnation. 4 of this can remove up to 16 cards in a deck, not to mention if anything that can bring back this card to hand

It isn't exactly a control card. If you read it correctly it is more of a 'Anti' control card. Because what use is it vs aggro? Remove one of their creatures from the game? doesn't matter since Boros will crush you in 4-5 turns.

Its an Aggro card ... because if you play aggro and they play remand. Expiriate remand and they lose 3x more counters. Pretty significant if all they do is stall still they hit Wrath.

Emm...its not inside Times Square, the mamak its opposite Time Square outside is call Al-Esfan mamak. My fren they all oni having session there on Saturday.

yeah I think it will be a perfect sideboard in most decks, just splash black for this card. Might be in main deck for some. No more Dredge-Gaea's Blessing for me might wanna come up with new R/G

magic needs all the exposure it can get. Hopefully every player there behaves themselves as a lot of people stare at us. We have one section 'reserved' for mtg so you'll forget about the crowd.

The more people stare the better. If you haven't noticed physical Magic was experiencing a downward trend up until Time Spiral. Alot of players leaving or left the game. If the good old days of the open area Grand Prix and Pre-Release was brought back (Those days Pre-Release were held in shopping complexes , I remember BSC, Sunway Pyramid and also Atria) , the game will have more exposure and you will definitely see more and more new faces.

I'll be sure to come once i graduated... now??? so far meh...

BTW do any of you know what are the promo cards given in the release event?? any leakage?

no worries geh, they all long time there edi mar. Hari even give out those MTG pen to those mamak staff. So if u went there makan minum u will saw them take order by using magic the gathering pen lol
