With the upcoming PTQ Yokohama just weeks away from our shores, what do you guys plan to play? I'm just curious to know what the Malaysian players will be bringing.

The UK metagame is predominantly aggro based and with splashes of control/combo *call it the british mentality*. So I'm playing a rogue TEPS (The Extended Perfect Storm). Friends are planning to bring in the cheapest deck to build *Boros Deck Wins* and his GF ? Believe it or not 5c Zoo .

If any of you guys are up for play testing some Extended decks before their PTQ's i'm free for MWS Sessions so just PM me.

the new akroma is kinda kewl coz it cant be countered... but the protection from color is not so good... protection from blue and white is not so nice comparing to protection from red and black due to black and white has lots of burn and destroy spells... i think the ol akroma rules

the new 1 got the advantage as well. Imagine, it can be boomerang (blue) and it cant be fetters as well as condemn

actually protection from black wont help much...
based on my analysis:-
save from mortify
save from anything that X/-5 and below
only black can harm is dark banishing and the the B?G mortify (forgot the name) and the newest black wrath...
it got haste jz summon and pump it up with red mana...
wicked card in my point of view...

try bring some unexpected deck...
my knell deck wa sunexpected to many opponent that arent ready (and many ppl dun have enchanment removal)...
maybe try other decks like knight and so...
maybe pure suspend deck?
i'm not so sure bout the new orignial deck base don time spiral sobz...

i dont think it has haste... it has tremple only... and flying... no first strike oso... well... quite true... you cant boomerang it and you cant fetters or condemn it... owh well

i think no haste and first strike makes up with firebreathing ability and morph

Cards that cant be counter + haste ? is too gay to see that. Then every 1 will be playing red akroma. Dragon storm, tron those all can go back sleep edi lol

Its not a bad deck list, althought I would definately change the sideboard a whole lot. Extended decks aren't just standard decks with some extended cards. They are completely different. Ichorid decks kill turn 3 , Ritual desire can even go off turn 2, and that's not even mentioning the amount of UW control tron decks.

I would completely change your sideboard
2-3 Kataki - (Affinity will kill you)
4x Leyline of the Void ( Its amazing. It shuts down Nevermind Heartbeat builds, Desire Rituals, most importantly Ichorid)
Tormod's Crypt is good. Thats just a start.

Also remove castgate from your main deck. Yes its good and it removes a card but Duress is better and cheaper. From what I see your deck is essentially a weenie deck with dicard. but You will still lose to decks like Boros deck Wins and other aggro decks. You need better ulitility creatures and Dark Confidant will be your downfall if you face burn.

4x Jitte is too much main board. Simply because well its slow. the Earliest is Turn 4 when you have 4 mana. Yes you can cast turn 2 and equipe turn 3 but for what? on Isamaru ? You want Palladin Envec at least.

If you have good disruption with discard and 4x Isamaru, 4x Savannah Lion, 4x Silver Knights you quite a competetive deck that pawns combo and has a chance against aggro with Pryoclasm.

i'm probably going to run Trinket Angel aka UWR Toolbox or a Rock variant. i thought about running boros and i may still run it but its really going to end up being hated out of the format by the time planar chaos comes out.

how rogue is your TEPS? does it have an answer for stifle and meddling mage?
