Bro Antu and Uncle Benny..

Step  1 to 3 is what i have done after cwm.zip successfully installed ROM manager icon appear with few option that is:-

1. Reboot System now
2. install zip from sdcard
3. wipe data/factory reset
4. wipe cache partition
5. backup and restore
6. mounts and storage
7. advance.

When i press [power botton] once the screen will flash once and return to the 7 option... i need to press hard on the power botton to get it restart
*
It's using touch interface.Use ur finger and point instead of using power or volume button

Ish...flash to deodex pre-rooted LPY stock rom also cannot get full root >< Still cant change permission of files...I guess have to revert back to GB after all sad.gif

Like that I directly use pc odin to flash GB KK1 then root there and then flash abyss kernel and continue there?

Your case is indeed very strange. How come you cannot get full root. I never have such issues - have been doing these for my friends too flashing the same rom
You need to use root explorer to change permissions - what app did you use
*
The 1 u mentioned lol sweat.gif Root explorer. It says permissions change was not successful. Please note that some file system (e.g SD card) do not allow permission changes.

By right, all the method I've tried should gives me full root access.I've no freaking idea sweat.gif

y u didt start with pre-root dxlc2??
*
I flash to pre-root dxlc2 before I flash to Malaysia official ICS stock rom.I lost full root in both ><

Pre-root dxlc2 -> LP9 ICS stock rom -> LPY ICS stock rom

Tried booting into recovery, flash CWM.zip and flash su.zip, still cannot get back full root.

All also cannot get full root coz cannot paste file into system/apps or write permissions.Gonna crazy soon doh.gif

==> there have been reported problems with a constantly rebooting system when doing installation coming from a GB-ROM as posted above! So the safe and 100% successful way is installing LPY Stock-ROM, root Stock ROM and then go on as described below under point b2). Do not ask for a tutorial on how to install and root LPY Stock ROM....it is describe enough here in Forum

Strange you are asking such basic questions considering your experience in so much flashing

At least I get back my root now.Can move file to system/apps and change permissions but still I couldnt change permissions of the folder in /sdcard hmm.gif

Btw,I flash abyss kernel 4.2 juz now to do a full wipe...will that have any impact?Next I'm gonna flash to LP9 then only RRv2 to prevent bootloops and repeat restarting. If u wanna know why not I go to RRv2 directly from GB,it's due to this
