Anyone on LPF stock + rooted having issues with AdAway?

For some reason, it can't get permission to write to /system/etc/hosts even though supposed to be rooted already....

For those who having trouble downloading samsung stock rom/firmware

go to http://fus.nanzen.se
download Check Fus Downloader 2.1

run CheckFusDownloader_v2.1.exe, choose your firmware (android), model (GT-N7000), country (Malaysia). Click check firmware. All the latest official firmwares from Samsung will be there, this including all samsung phone/tab rom/firmware. KIES SUCK!

++FRIENDLY REMINDER++

DO NOT FLASH ANY ICS ROM YET FOR GALAXY NOTE

even it official via KIES, Sammobile or whatever. We still suffered from from emmc bug. Latest LP9 also in the bug list coz the build date is before LPF rom was build.

I'm on LPF full stock rooted rom including bootloader flashed. Please go back to GB rom or LPF rom for your safety. LPF is a FULL WIPE ROM.

If you already flashed LP1, LP5, LP6, LPY and LP9 i suggest you to go back to GB rom or flash LPF rom before it's too late. If you still stupid, please don't ever touch any stock recovery, stock full wipe and factory reset. Or you'll end up FULL/SUPER BRICK. Until then, only samsung can help you...
refer my guide how to revert back to GB on XDA.

My speaker has gone kaput after upgrading to the official Samsung ICS via Kies. Not even ringing tone. I have reset the phone to factory reset but no help. Funny, I can get sound via earphone but not through the speaker. Big problem to receive calls, got to rely on vibration.

Anyone facing the same problem? I am thinking of sending it back to Samsung. Nice phone but hare this problem.

or if want to wipe data, flash abyss 4.2 kernel and wipe data and flash back CF CWM kernel...

anyway, i'm still safe on RR V1.

Previously flash from alba v3, wipe data with CWM after fail to boot into phone.
thank god no brick...

but from xda there, looks like still can revive back the brick...
but many many steps...

any software available to display what's display on your phone in a PC when connected through cable or wifi??
