For those who facing operation timed out while trying to upgrade via Kies, and if you're using wifi for your computer's connection, try using LAN cable instead. This solved my problem! : )

ok, done PC Odin LPF stock, root and install Abyss, reflashed RR v2 with full wipe.  Boot into Home Screen with no issue now.   

Should I flash the SGSIII theme now before restoring apps from TB?  or doesn't matter?  Coz still need 30mins before i finish download the S3 full theme file.

btw, it seems there's no guideline on flashing the Full Theme pack.  Just follow the normal procedures to wipe cache and dalvik before flashing it?

my fren asking me..he wanted to flash taiwanese ICS which have 4 .md5 file...based on the XDA guideline,he asked to put all the files into respective option,like phone,pit,csc,pda,bootloader....

i heard our uncle said,can flash one file oni (PDA file) ..the others are not necessary..hmm..correct?so i need to tell him jus flash the pda file oni?

IMO uncle's heart still here... Uncle always get the latest device... play around than sell off...
the only device make Uncle leave here I guess would be Note 2... so... we still have another 6 months with uncle...

I am currently running Gingerbread DXLC2.
What is the best way to go to Rocket ROM ICS?

If I read post #6 correctly, it seems to say I have to flash with pre-rooted Gingerbread LC2 first with PC Odin, then root, then install mobile odin pro to flash Rocket ROM ICS. Any other easier way?

My concern is really the battery life, currently on Gingerbread, it goes down to 15% by early evening.... horrible

currently my note with malaysia ICS rom + CWM upgraded from rooted GB LC2.

I read a lot comments about do not Wipe Data/ Factory reset (ICS rom) else it will hard brick our note. I do not flash any custom rom. can I do factory reset thru recovery? I need to factory reset cause my note some times will hang for a few seconds before respond back.

uncle benny, can i do a nandroid backup on ics msia stock rom?

My dad got one. Kinda sluggish, but im waiting for right time to flash modded rom for him as recommended by uncle benny. size is great and vr portable. u wont feel so kekok bring it around here n there compared to ipad.

Hello everyone, super sifus and all.
i just got myself a galaxy note 2 days ago. so happy.
after following from v13, i have installed the official ICS by pc odin.
i bought AP and unit i think from france.
Also its my first android (switching from blackberry). A bit pening how to use at first. lol.
so now that i am running ICS LP9, what do you sifus recommend me do? root first is it? if so how do i proceed? im confused because its AP unit but now running ICS malaysia. also is it safe to do factory reset from settings? i dont want to brick my new phone.
