Blizzard uses the same login for all their games, well at least I saw that for StarCraft II and Diablo III.

My battlnet account was initially attached with an authenticator. Then when diablo3 was almost launched, I sign up for battlnet SMS alert.

Then since I always forget to bring out my physical authenticator, I decided to removed it and then re-attached my account with a mobile authenticator.

Ever since, I am unable to attach the authenticator. BOth the mobile and the physical one. It keep on telling me that my serial number for the authenticator is WRONG, when it's perfectly correct. I even sent Blizzard the picture for proof.

I already open a ticket since 19th May, and all I get is useless response every 2 day.

Then I got hacked. So sux

THEN, thanks to spongebob squarepant, telling me that I should REMOVED my battlnet SMS alert FIRST, then only attach my authenticator.

and them, BHAM, it works.

ive been thinking bout all this hacking stuff.. and u know what.. i think this wouldnt have happen if blizzard dint give out the guest pass. blizzards greed in giving this guest pass has resulted in ppl being hacked n gold n toons transferred to this free account. I cannot imagine hackers would pay 59.99 usd to just get a few account before getting banned.

Edit: There is a bug with the auction house taking money from you but not giving you the item saying you don't have enough space in your bag even when you have plenty.

Anyone kena hack today ??or yesterday ?

My account has been hacked yesterday 3.30pm when i was playing with my friends. I suddenly got kicked out from the game and a message appeared and says that someone log to this account from another computer.

I tried to relogin but too bad the password was changed. I quickly go to battle.net to change my password n everything but it was too late. My main item and my gold was all stolen.

The weird thing is that when I ask my friends whether they saw my account online or not that time, and they said they didn't see my account online but saw my demon hunter naked already.

I have already sent ticket to blizzard and hope i get my DH roll back 6 - 12 hours before the hack. sigh...

After all the hassle, I've got myself authenticator and the sms alert from battle.net. How the heck they got my p/w at the 1st place, I never download anything or torrent or visit any phishing website too. =(

can we identify whether you are playing a public game or a private game?

private game with 3 friends of mine and then suddenly i get booted off from game. This is ridiculous!

i think they have access to past records of public games, they joined you before, so you will have a open vulnerability, not necessarily the most possible though
