2mm is a lot in m43 lens. I'm just doing my part to spread the happiness of owning the lens 

if you are still on a budget ... i'd suggest you think about the NEED for the lens. 

of course, you'd want to be happy owning it and being able to use it ... but think about it critically ... do you really use or get to use it as much as you'd like on what you want to snap.

if the answer is yes by all means go for it   (assuming no other factors like money is a problem of course)

But it still depend on his timing. If belum married and still satu batang, by all means, go get it. What are u waiting for? But~ if sudah ada family with many juniors, then delay a bit is a smarter move. The lens won't go away... It's there waiting for you.

For your info, if you get it from oversea, Panasonic Malaysia will not entertain you so much if your lens sent in for warranty. They'll take their own sweet time to claim or repair it for you. Also, make sure u incurred in the Kastam tax and duty for importing lenses. I kena 30% before. It'll end up more expensive than any local stores.

If like that, I'd rather you get the lens than burning your energy & money for your night life. Buy once and enjoy all you want than a few hours of meaningless happiness.

Lens simply means having less time on each Lens as there can only b one lens on one camera body in one given time.

Well, I was trained with Photoshop since version 1 (not even near CS era) ages ago when I was a college boy. So, no way I'm changing my tools which I'm over familiarized with. It's an advanced photo-editing software for professional usages. Lightroom in the other hand has improved a lot  in version 4. More and more professional photographers to-date picked it up very quickly for their ease of use features for fast & accurate color-correction and editing. And is way-way cheaper than Photoshop CS6.

If your works do not required special effects or complex editing for production usages, then Lightroom will delivers what you are looking for. And the learning curve is faster and easier compared to CS. All in all, they are just tools. Just choose the one that you are comfortable with and learn from there. I'd advice anyone who is very new in photo-editing to start off with Lightroom and then upgrade yourself to CS. It's easier to learn, simple and straight-forward.

this icon? circled in red... if so, that's the touch shutter, it's disabled - if enable, when i touch any point it will immediately focus and shoot (that's really cool btw)



what i meant was if the touch shutter is disabled like photo above, then mine behaves exactly like described here

Touch AF. The autofocus point can be set anywhere within the frame (except the extreme edges) by touching the LCD display, and four different point sizes are available. We found this one of the camera's most compelling features. (Picture shows Panasonic G2, which operates similarly to the GF2).

I remember when I was first playing with this, if I tap on any point (with touch shutter disabled) it will focus instead of showing that 5 yellow boxes instead.

Anyway, it's ok I think it works out better this way - much much easier to compose then press the area i want the camera to focus and then press shutter.
