actually he is more nikon and leica user...but owns other stuff...also has panasonic.
he's also used the PL 45 for a few jobs already...and his tests also showed the oly is better.
plus the oly obviously has has magnification ratio window...and its working distance is slightly longer by 2.2cm more than PL 45.
*
that's mean he is a rich guy.
if i am rich i also can sell this or that for trying new product.

For me PL45 not only a macro lens,but also a portrait lens.
60mm can't replace PL45's color , bokeh, image stabilizer and the "Leica" mark.
And 60mm very hard to use in indoor.

Added on September 29, 2012, 8:49 pmOlympus-Sony deal now official! They will work together on mirrorless cameras.

It’s done! After months of speculations the Olympus and Sony deal has been officially announced. Wall Street Journal reports: “Olympus said Friday it will raise ¥49 billion ($631.6 million) by issuing new shares to Sony Corp. With the capital tie-up, Sony will effectively become Olympus’s biggest shareholder, with a stake of 11.5% in terms of voting rights. The two companies also plan by the end of December to set up a joint venture to develop medical devices and to study collaboration in compact digital cameras.”

bye bye olympus

wonder why bye bye olympus...
omd is using sony sensor.
nikon dslr also use sony sensor.

they're one of the best sensor makers out there...olympus cameras can only get even more better from now onwards.
*

mean, if omd kit is 12-50, so equal to 24-100
sigma 10-20 will be 20-40?

consider wide angle also right?
*
28mm = standard wide angle
24mm and below =super wide
40mm = small wide angle

Oh sorry cause I'm using Shashinki and they list it under mirrorless so I just assumed. doh.gif  Mirrorless and M43 are different things?
*
Mirrorless or EVIL is "small size" camera.
sony nex, samsung nx ,nikon 1 olympus ep Lumix G is one of the mirrorless.
main different are their sensor size.

panasonic / olympus= M4/3
sony nex-samsung nx=apsc
nikon 1=CX
