Seeing everyone giving the similar reply, single 2217 not sufficient for a 4ft tank, guess I'll get bigger Eheim then.
If I prefer to have only 1 canister, which model should i go for? 2078?

At the meantime, I haven't move in to my new house, so not sure of the ambient temp.
Maybe this weekend i'll bring a bucket, fill it with water and measure the temp.

Another headache is that the aquarium will be situated in between the living room and dry kitchen.
I'm concern about the chiller which the sound will be audible and generate heat to the living room.

I using 120mmx120mm x38mm fan, my 3ft tank is 24.5-26 temp

if you serious in breading shrimps, then fish is a big no no in the tank..
only otto is allow..
plus, golden algae eater is quite aggrasive

Totally agree. Thats why i am sellign of my guppies/fries away..rm1 = 4 ekor..lolz...

golden algae...hard to catrch in tank..they are just TOO FAST...

still got tectra, bt seems they are v passive

They fan the eggs is to prevent fungus settle on them , but if they very stress or in distress they will drop the eggs.
