so iwagumi style can have foregroound and background ?
nvr did iwagumi style before..only saw iwagumi only have foreground plants .
my stuffs are really limited, since im scaping using used wet soil, and medium size rocks.

got no transport.. and no other place to go.

My 105 x 40 x 40 tank finally came! Then I was looking at iwagumi style and the guide searched has the exact same measurement with mine..

Thinking of trying out iwagumi style, believing that it is considered an "easy" style for beginners.

unfortunately, i dun have the closeup version of it. but it's like other rotala rotundifolia sp. , which u can easily google the photo. it's one of the very common stem plants.

it's a stem plant... what do u expect on growing tall? LOL~

still, no matter what ur lightings will be one of the main factor. even HC can grow upwards if you got what i mean.
