QUOTE(Vincentccw @ Apr 12 2016, 02:13 PM) I usually swim at my sister small condo (25m) pool, if got rain or thunder will go to D Swim Academy(DSA) Kampung Pandan. Honestly to say the pool at Kampung Pandan really good, only the down side is all the door in shower room are rosak... Currently just learn freestyle swimming 7 months, I'm learning base on total immersion. Now still a noob. lol |

QUOTE(maraippo @ Apr 12 2016, 02:22 PM) hi, need some tips from swimming sifus here. I'm not sifu, just can provide my personal experience. i can swim quite decent stroke. my problem is, breathing. i have very bad timing on when to breath out... can advise which is better? 1) breath out when turning head before breath in? 2) breath out immediately after face start facing down after breath in? 3) breath out along the way until next breath in? 1. Breath out the air when your face under water, inhale the air when you turning your head. Do not do it in same times, it will cause you inhale too late then will minum banyak air... By the way, how to share youtube video here? I'm a noob here. lol This post has been edited by johny2k: Apr 12 2016, 02:38 PM |

QUOTE(huruhara @ Apr 13 2016, 04:11 PM) u learned it yourself by watching clip, wow.. Yes, here is the youtube tutorial playlist from TI coach Maria Elena Crowley. You can practice it from lesson 1.0 to lesson 5. But I can say it is really not easy to me from beginning, because I'm a completely freestyle noob. But as my personal experience, it's drill really work for me. Hope you can enjoy it too, I still cant swim freestyle haha.. i can enjoy my breaststroke..slowly..but freestyle..all kelam kabut hahah.. Any recommended youtube channel? https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVtv...we7p6-Mafh66wRO This post has been edited by johny2k: Apr 14 2016, 11:11 AM |

QUOTE(Vincentccw @ Apr 21 2016, 09:43 AM) Did you took a rest inbetween with TI freestyle while doing your 1000m? I'm using normal freestyle and I have to take a rest every 160 to 200m. Yes, brother. I do the drill, rest 1 minutes on each 100m. For none stop maximum I can do are 200m, then rest 1 minute & go on again. As I say I still a noob. |

QUOTE(~Joey~ @ Apr 22 2016, 11:00 AM) You're welcome Really???? Like this I need to see the water first before I make payment, it is no point to swim there if it still murky. I went there yesterday for the 6 to 8 session as well. One thing to note about is the pool water seems to be a bit murky. Not sure if it was due to the constructions nearby. Even with my goggles on, I can't really see anything further than 5 meters away when I'm underwater lol. I guess this is the only downside as of now. |
