Thinking of grabbing it before they change the price.
Selected the 3 year warranty and it summed up to 2.5k
i5-3210m
GT 640M
14" 1366x768
500GB 7200 RPM

Pretty decent eh?

GT 640M is a decent GPU.
IMHO, I think it is a great laptop for the price.

Only thing I'm worried about is.. it is Dell.
Hopefully it doesn't break down since I'm in Australia.

Anyone know if I can claim warranty from Dell Australia if I buy from Dell Malaysia?

For Dell, 3 years warranty = international warranty..

You can transfer your warranty to Australia through Dell's website nod.gif
International warranty is applicable if the country you are in is also offering the laptop you're using nod.gif

Dell Australia isn't offering 14r. Only 15r

Yeah hopefully.
So if it does appear on Dell Australia, I can transfer my warranty over to Dell Australia?

I bought the 2 yr warranty though :/ Still can transfer?

Is it possible to extend it to 3yr and pay the additional RM100 or so?

Hey guys,

I order the inspiron 14r, but forgot to tick 'include the Genuine Windows 7 64 Bit CD' for an extra RM10.
How am I supposed to reformat my laptop if something happens to my laptop?

Thanks.

There will be a program that walks us through the process yes?
I'm not sure how to do it so.. :/

How many empty CDs do we require?

Hey guys,

I have a 14r SE for a few months now and it keeps getting random BSODs.
Anything I can do to fix it?

Thanks
