Both is different =D Inspiron 14r SE way better.

I got it online as there is this 7% EPP discount. But you may get it cheaper in PC Fair. Let me know on the price so I don't feel so bad for being lazy to go PC Fair lol.
*
Thought the EPP coupon is not compatible for inspiron 14r se? tongue.gif I was still wondering whether they will bring in the inspiron 14r se to PC fair considering its a new model...

Emailed DELL already...asking whether the student 7% discount can overlap with the 7% EPP discount tongue.gif and also about the HDD customization option. Their customer service really excellent thumbup.gif

Edit:
The 7% EPP discount CAN'T work with the FHD 15r SE. Only the normal one.

normal one means ? no ssd and hhd ? oh no~
*
Yup the one without SSD and FHD.

hmm HDD option is what? customization? what does it mean by HDD option is fix?  hmm.gif
*
Means changing the HDD to other option like lower storage but faster rpm HDD, SSD+HDD hybrid etc. Since they say the HDD option is fixed which means it can only us 1TB 5400rpm HDD and you can't customize it...

You don't need the basic client installation. That's for those user that don't know how to setup wireless connection with a modem/router.

QUOTE(gorson @ Jun 14 2012, 01:13 PM)
Hey guys, I'm getting very confused reading this thread...

For the Inspirion 14R SE, I saw someone mentioned RM2999, and some mentioned RM2599, but now what i see from Dell website is RM2199. But then there is quoted a "RM200 instant redemption" there.

So, actually how much have to pay for this model? The price has been changing all these while?
Btw, if order online and pay with credit card, any credit card will do or must use citibank credit card?

Pls help me to get things straight, TQ!
*
RM2199 version is i5 Ivy while RM2999 (now RM2799) is i7 Ivy. Both comes with GT640M.

But AFAIK RM2199 has been taken down from the website but there is still a hidden link to it. Here it is

For the credit card issue I guess you should call DELL representative directly as they have better knowledge than us. Or drop them an email, they replied quite quickly in my experience.
