But at P or N, rev cuts at 2.5k leh, where power to the spark plugs are regulated. How come can rev til 4k if no sparks?  blink.gif  blink.gif

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Jun 12 2012, 12:19 PM)
Rev cut not neccessarilly applied when overflow. Newer vehicle normally will auto adjust timing to burn off excess fuel. In short, when you pump RON91 in the system, ignition will auto tone down (retard) to avoid pinging. Whereas higher RON, ignition will advance to ensure the fuel being burn up correctly.

In my opinion, no problem ar. Besides, it not everytime you start your car also it beehive like a beeotch. I get that when I go long distance, otherwise the car just fine.

yeah, 1st time happen that, and i believe my car won't happen that everytime tongue.gif

Sorry dares / Guys, it's actually a "RED exclamation mark within a circle" that pops up - don't think it's the ABS warning.

Could it be brake fluid level low ?

Thanks in advance
*
that RED exclamation mark got 3 meaning,
1) hand brake pulled, not release fully
2) low level brake fluid
3) hand brake switch fault

Not this indicator, it is a "complete" circle but with jagged ridges on the circle itself - like nothing i've ever seen before rclxub.gif

Yes that's the one. Thanks.
*
i can make it light up as many time i want brows.gif
actually i know the trick of this light, did you play around with SAT button lately?
try push the button to S mode, then again push back to D mode... the light should have gone icon_idea.gif
the idea is, the light blink because the SAT switch problem, when it got stuck from S mode to D mode (the button you push didn't punch out fully) then the light will blink..

to all FLX user, try to push that button to S mode, then again push back to D mode but holding it half way, (don't let the button completely punch out, then the light will blink) doh.gif

conclusion : SAT button FAILED sweat.gif

apa solution? hmm.gif
*
solution for :

1) engine jerk during idle
2) taktak noise during braking
3) jerk during slow cruising
4) gear stiffness from L to D
5) rattling noise came from dashboard

so far that's the problem from me vmad.gif

According to my daughter, she hasn't touched the SAT button since she got the car around 2-3 weeks ago. She's going to send to SC to check soon & will update you guys.

it happen to me, CVT warning light up during cruise, and I also didn't touch that SAT button too, sometime is 1st warning given by CVT (everyone facing that too) but then after that, the light never light up anymore nod.gif

solution for :

1) engine jerk during idle
2) taktak noise during braking
re-adjust drum shoe if stuck or replace whole drum brake
3) jerk during slow cruising
increase right foot control (key word: smoothness) and less braking
4) gear stiffness from L to D
5) rattling noise came from dashboard
6) rattling from all doors (power window bracket?)

so far that's the problem from me
*
i know it can be fix, but not permanently, proton haven't come out with best solution yet

meanwhile increase right foot control? no way bro shakehead.gif
normally during traffic jam, i need to control the accelerate pedal well, if slight accelerate doesn't move the car, what i did is push the gear to N and immediately back to D, then only it give respond to that pedal, otherwise if i push further down, it will cause more jerk (people from outside thought i'm dancing in car doh.gif )

Seems like the computer controlled clutch still can't beat a foot clutch operated by an experienced driver for smoothness. But I don't remember such jerking when I was driving my friend's FLX hmm.gif

yeah, still prefer MT laugh.gif
