sifu here im tied between the saga flx se 1.6 and the 1.3 flx executive.
what i want to know is that is the 1.3 flx underpowered?
*
don't worry about 1.3 FLX, it's not underpower, hence i've compared the pick-up and power between 1.3 FLX and 1.6 FLX, just slightly different..
1.3 FLX, cruise from 0 - 100 KMPH compare to 1.6 FLX, different just a second or maybe less than that whistling.gif

I use subwoofer @ trunk as well wo.. unsure.gif

Anyway, want nice bass especially for front, u need to apply dampening material. Else even the expensive speaker diaphragm move like mad also no use, because u will hear vibration of plastic door trim and metal part inside.
*
i don't play with expensive speaker, just prefer some nicer speaker which can take better bass.. the current stock speaker seem like cannot take lower frequency for example 'Justin Bieber - Boyfriend', the bass seem too stiff and the speaker can't take it sweat.gif but my dad's persona car stock speaker and HU seem ok with it...
wondering which one caused it, speaker or HU? hmm.gif

ok got it.. i confident with the stock HU actually, because it could produce rich bass for most music.. but sometime it fail to beat the bass at certain frequency, so i think mostly caused by the stock speaker.

i was thinking to change to some budget speaker which can better than the stock one, how bout the 2-way Pioneer or Sony speaker currently sell at Mudah.com (price around RM 88 to RM 150) ? hmm.gif

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Jun 6 2012, 04:40 PM)
I couldn't provide u regarding which brand is better, but advise you change your front speaker 1st, change to component system rather than coaxial speaker (regardless is 2 way or 3 way). Vocal and highs is directional, those coaxial is install inside the door panel, the sound will become muffle and blur. Component setup you will have the tweeter facing you, by correct crossover, the tweeter can give you smooth high and nice vocal.

Anyway, stock speaker is 5.25" lousy paper cone full range speaker (front same as rear speaker), tend to bass sound, high is worst. Aftermarket you can put 6.5" inside, add a proper wooden buffer instead of just screw at door metal panel.
*
thanks for the info, i can start looking for some better speaker nowadays brows.gif

anyone interesting in water repellent coating for windscreen? not Rain-X and any other popular brands currently..
this product knew as Enduro Shield from U.S. and it's using Nano Technology which was friendly with the wiper, compare to Rain-X, it could damage the wiper due to their ingredient in it.

btw, Rain-X, RainAway or any others coating could last for 1 to 3 months depend on the usage, but Enduro Shield could last for 6 to 12 months.

this product is currently supply by my company and the only distributors in Malaysia. brows.gif

currently this Enduro Shield Automative selling around RM79 (market price), and I able to get slightly cheaper for that.

if anyone interested, i can try to arrange for bulk order, so that we able to get cheaper price for that. icon_idea.gif

website : Enduro Shield Automotive

note : i've been using it for about 4 months, and the water repel effect was still there, and yet the wiper still got in condition thumbup.gif
if just drizzling rain, i doesn't need to use wiper, as the water will repel itself (speed approx. 70 kmph)

My nenas exhaust happens at 2k RPM.
Your car is FL?FLX?CVT?

EDIT: just saw that your car is FLX CVT. Did it rev to 4k in D or N?
*
FLX CVT, after start engine, it rev automatically itself (gear > P) to 4k RPM for about 3 seconds... doh.gif

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Jun 12 2012, 10:43 AM)
That's the sympthom of OVERFLOW. Under NORMAL condition, this happen after long distance/full load cruising/hai speed sprint. Whilst you mati engine, the injector haven't fully retract, excess fuel takung in the combustian chamber that causes hard to kick start(sometimes too wet is no good tongue.gif) once started, then ma full effort burn all the excess fuel that's why 4krpm lor.

However, if you did not perform any stunt like I said above, then possibility is ngam ngam this tank of petrol toooooo hai in octane. Mungkin tu engineer kat Shell tertumpah kemikal dalam tong minyak terjadi RON99, that's why fuel very hard to burn off laugh.gif

Last but not least, the ONLY bad news for you. If all the above not your case, then its your hole loosen(I mean the injector nozzle loosen). Come on la, BLM oldest car oni 4 years old. Normally nozzle sumbat, seldom loosen. Unless you take out the injector & drill 7 it shakehead.gif

So, don't worry. Wait till next tank of petrol & see whether same problem persist. If yes then only go SC komplen lar icon_rolleyes.gif
*
hmmm.. if i not mistaken i back from meeting with client, long distance cruise and high speed cruise from KL to Puchong hmm.gif

i've drove my car without sudden acceleration for quite sometimes now, should the ecu adapt my style
and that's why not revvy?
*
yes, the ECU already adapt to your style, just like i did previously, rev slow, and the performance also dropped as well, but lower FC icon_idea.gif

but after few weeks, can't use to it anymore, rev more to it, cruise at >130kmph up to 150kmph...
now step on pedal a bit, the car more responsive and more power brows.gif
