HP's service center is pretty good. The moment you walk-in, you must ask their technician to perform the test for you.
If you are early, they will do the replacement immediately. The wait could take about 1-4 hours depending on how serious the issue is.
I'm interested to know if anyone has used Lenovo's onsite warranty.

QUOTE(zizdnyll @ May 19 2012, 07:56 AM) dell warranty for alienware , can extend up to 5 year.. they say first 3 year they can change the part , after that , they will change for new system if there's problem because they dont have the sparepart anymore. I guess that's what you get when you pay for a premium price. But still, how many people would hold a laptop for more than 5 years, especially a gaming one these days. Also the warranty is pretty pricy.

Not sure why it's called "Pay a few if you want it quick", but afaik, if you go early in the morning, they could do part replacement on the spot, provided they have the parts. I once took my HP Mini to service centre and it was fixed within 45-60 minutes. Oh, and they have free coffee too (HP tower at damansara).
