From the given choice go for the MG, its less fragile then RG and much more forgiving if you made any mistakes. If you have big hands and large fingers like me, building RG is a pain in the ass. Even some small parts from MG is a pain in the ass for me.

As a general rule if you are really really new into model kit (as in nvr had any experience what so ever in stuff like ikea or lego) go for HG. You can start up from MG but you must know what to buy and what not to buy. There are some beginner lvl kit in MG, zakus is one of em, but there are quite alot of em require a little more advance skills. If u wan to start from MG stage, avoid flashy stuff (Unicorn, Wing kits, Seed kits except for strike, 00 kits, etc) and big ass kits (FAZZ, Sinanju, EX-S, etc).

I vote for MG too since I dont have any RG yet...easier and bigger to build...BTW my experience started from Gashapon though > 1/144 NG > 1/100 NG > MG...Me likey Zaku space type

for me, RG is good when you dont have much space to display, and prefer something detailed (less paint jobs to look good)

and of coz, MG are always nicer to look at

fyi MG got lots of Zaku variation than RG
but still no MG Zaku FZ yet.. :sigh:

wing kits, seed kits are ok actually, saves for recent ones. avoid any transformable MG for now.

Seems like the trend has gone back to the old 90s detail overload style ala hg 1/100 gundam x kits and hg 1/100 wing kits.
