the GFT kits are web exclusive right? or only sold nearby the GFT itself? (like the 7-Eleven editions)

nope. it's only sold together with HG Exia or HG Dynames, named GN-Arms Type E and GN-Arms Type D respectively.

both are quite pricey to begin with, like the METEOR unit


I think your camera is fine, but imo you really need to look for a better background to take your pics

try to get a mahjong paper and black paper (it's called sugar paper if not mistaken), using it alternately for bright/dark coloured models to give it contrast so that the pic will "pop out" more

as for MG, it's only sold in the form of Sword/Launcher pack together with the MG Strike itself, and there's no 1/100 Skygrasper

PG on the other hand, only have the Skygrasper and the Aile Striker pack. but there is 1/60th scale Strike with Striker Weapon System that includes all three packs (Aile, Sword & Launcher) but since it's just 1/60th scale, you can say it's just an upscaled HG. but I've seen modelers mod these 1/60 packs to fit the PG Strike

it's plated, not painted so I don't think the kit will lose its bling2 anytime soon

btw dunno why I'm not fond of the Gold Frame Amatsu's design


wanna spam pics with pre UC0083 kits, but I don't have any from that era already assembled the oldest (in terms of era) that I have assembled now would be the Mk-II TITANS and Zeta Plus C1, each from UC0086 and UC0088 respectively

the MG RX-78GP01 was released back in 1997. whoever born that year now in Form 3 already

not really. maybe that kind of gold+black combination is not so pleasant to my eyes?

but who knows that'll change if you cover up the gold parts with flat top coat like asuk done with the HG Delta Gundam, having similar finish like the MG Hyaku Shiki HD Color

I always loved UC style battles! straight away military-concept battlefield!!

not just some fancy over-powered shining here and there kind of stuff

in my opinion UC0096 is still okay and I'm not only focusing on battles that involves the main characters

you can see even the grunt units have their own proper screen time, with great heroic scenes (although quite brief) and also some fighting chance even when facing with huge/high-powered MS, like the first episode of the Unicorn when a Stark Jegan goes head to head with the Kshatriya. although the Jegan ended up in pieces, but at least it's just not blowing up with a single slash/shot like in Seed/00 series

I don't know why; is it just me, or the Justice seems like wearing a pair of oversized terompah?

or does it always been like that?

can't recall since not really a big fan of Justice

lemme guess, you have a MG 00 Seven Swords, and planning to get the 1/100 0 Raiser to make your 00 Gundam to 00 Raiser?

I'm not sure about "how much"

all I can say is you might wanna borrow somebody else's 00 Raiser as a reference and have a look at its connectors that enable the 0 Raiser to dock to the 00 Gundam. or you can always scratch build and come out with your own solution

dunno, but I think the NT-1 Alex or F-91 had very little chance of getting RG treatment

there are a lot of criteria considered for the kit to be released, and popularity/ranking is undeniably one of the deciding factor as well. of course they wouldn't have wanted to release a kit that will only attract a small group of fans right?

every era/series has their own charm, and it's all about personal preferences. I admit UC designs are awesome, but other series does have some good looking ones, too

nowadays it's all about the flashy designs, while UC is more to military style

speaking of which, seen some quite a lot of stocks at Gamers Arena BTS

not sure.. the one I've seen is this:

best example: Seed series. you can even see recycled scenes from the Seed episodes being used in Seed Destiny

even the opening song MV is included

the scale is relative lah. being 1/144 doesn't mean it'll be small enough to fit your palm, it's just 1/144 from its actual fictional size. you want smaller (and cheaper) Dendrobium then you might wanna consider this:

dude. that one is HG Mechanics 1/550th scale. the size is similar to your average MGs.
