QUOTE(gaianeo @ Jun 8 2012, 12:46 PM)
by the way.. wanna ask for opinion. RX78 ver 1.5 and RX78 OYW ver.  which one is more worth??
*
depends;
if you want something that's quite hard to find (almost rare), go for v1.5
if you want extreme details, and want to panel line your hearts out, go for ver. OYW.

as for me, ver. OYW have great details, and for sure pening want to panel line all, but I don't think I'm gonna like it's grey-ish inner frame and its somewhat light bluish hue on its white parts. as for the red parts, it has some orange-ish hue. seems like Bandai are trying very hard to keep the colours as close as possible to its original design hmm.gif

that's why I'd prefer v1.5 brows.gif

QUOTE(gaianeo @ Jun 8 2012, 03:16 PM)
so the one sell at Bakuc sg wang are which??
*
it's the normal version. the PS version is very hard to find, and the red parts are actually pinkish laugh.gif

Banshee completed !!

The anime version weapons look somewhat ridiculous... gonna switch it to the standard rifle and shield combo soon.

the OVA version does include the standard issue Beam Magnum and shield, similar to the white Unicorn right?

Yes. I wouldn't have bought it if it only came with the goofy OVA weapons.

And the HGUC Banshee Unicorn mode also comes with the Unicorn face and horn, although I can't see why anyone would choose those instead of the more elaborate Banshee headpiece.

haiya. how come salah tengok ur Banshee. I thought it's an MG doh.gif

sorry. my bad guys sweat.gif

lucky buy cry.gif i think 180 is pretty reasonable.. is it recommended over the normal 2.0? overall looks much better? laugh.gif
*
that was old story, last GBWC @Sg.Wang to be exact laugh.gif

as for the MG Zeta HD, it's exactly the same as MG Zeta v2.0, except for glossy finish parts and additional waterslide decals. since the price is the same, I'd say it's quite worthy to get the HD version nod.gif

seen a few MG Turn-A in GA at BTS 7th floor a few weeks back, priced around RM130-ish

but those available now seems a bit "ordinary" since the one I've seen before last year, same place, the box is shiny and even the MG logo has hologram effect.

special edition maybe? given that the Turn-A is the 100th MG hmm.gif

then what's the difference with the current one, which the box looks like any other gunpla box. reissue, perhaps?

QUOTE(Kage X @ Jun 15 2012, 12:26 AM)
Dear Gunbros, I very seldom post here (mostly lurking) but I have good news that I feel I must share with all of you.

After dinner at Pavilion KL, my GF wanted to go to Parkson to check out some kitchenware. Seeing as the kitchenware section is on the same floor as the toys section, I went over to the toys section to look at the Gundams there.

Now, I know that my Gunbros here will disapprove of buying Gunplas from retail stores but it is a habit of mine to "just check out" what's for sale at retail stores. I casually picked up the RG MKII AEUG when, lo and behold, I noticed that the price was RM79.90. WHAT!?!?!!? That's even cheaper than GBWC last week. Then I noticed that the price tag was wrongly affixed, it was supposed to be the price of a Ben 10 toy. There are another 3 boxes of the MKII left and all of them is the same price.

Sensing something is wrong, I looked at all the other Gunplas there, hoping to find the same mistake again. Then I found it. MG AGE Spallow at RM99.90. I grabbed one and left 2 boxes there. I was kinda glad I didn't grab these 2 during GBWC (almost wanted to but was more interested in AGE-1 Normal and MKII Titans version which was out of stock then).

So my fellow Gunbros, if you guys are interested, there's still 3 more boxes of MKII and 2 boxes of MG Spallow left at Parkson Pavilion. Good Luck.

that's one of the fun part with this hobby, apart from building the kit itself. there's always loads of fun and satisfaction when finding something cheap. brows.gif as for me, I have my hits and misses. but I just think those that I pay more, at least balances back those that I got for cheap icon_rolleyes.gif

I've got MG RX-78-2 v1.5 and MG GP01a in my stash. both are really old kits, more than a decade each sweat.gif

for next haul I'm only targeting MG HeavyArms and soon-to-be-released MG AGE-2 Normal, since I haven't got any from both series laugh.gif
