before this they try to grab market share from air asia.
hence the promotion promotion price that lasted for months in 2013,
and they seemed succeeded. their passenger load factor increased.
it is obvious that passenger would prefer MAS than Air Asia if both airline is offering the almost same price, or even slight higher price for MAS.

they should carry this promotional price strategy for long term.
price is 1 of the single most effective method to let passenger get used to your airline while travelling.

but its a tragedy to see they discontinued the promotional price strategy in 2014.
the passenger load factor will definitely decrease in this quarter.
their lost will be widen in the next quarterly report.

its stupid to increase price, decease the passenger load factor..
flying an airplane full of passenger with cheap airfare is better than fluing an empty airplane!!

What is the "intrinsic value" of MAS now?

No.. Cannot let MAS bankrupt.. Otherwise, AA will monopoly, increase the flight price, hidden unknown
charges/insurance/seat picker and dominate the local/intl route which previously held by MAS..
Are Consumer willing to pay higher price by flying in budget airlines ?? Let MAS slash the price, compete premium
service against budget service, and reduce more cost(salary, ppls, compensation + benefits, contracts signed ..etc)
Got competition in airlines = good for consumer in selecting airlines choice + needs.

Monday, u can see Mas limit down?

Usually lost contact and never landed is not a good thing. If they make emergency landing they will have news as the pilot is obliged to inform the airline. Also if they have some technical problems on the aircraft, the pilot will also need to inform the nearest tower. And since the aircraft cannot fly indefinitely, this is not a good news. If suddenly lost contact it could means a sudden catastrophic emergency that they have no time to report.

MAS have a reputation for safe air travel, and now the reputation is gone, it can never re built. I hope the crash is not related to maintenance budget cuts since they are losing so much money. If there are shoddy maintenance and/or budget cuts found, the airline can be sued for hundreds of million of dollars and the board of directors can be all hauled up for criminal charges. I hope the malaysian government will not resort to coverup.

Anyway I do hope that majority of the passengers is able to survive and is well.

And I will use RM 100 to buy it on Monday if its dropped to that.

This thing will fall but will be supported by the "invisible hands" and those looking for quick gains to sell-off.

MAS however will be gone in demise in the long future. There is real no-hope for MAS..

I'm guessing it's only normal that government linked stepped in to interfere with the mass selling. Mas market cap only left 300 millions and the drop of 4.5 cents early morning would put it under even more pressure.

Good for those who took the bait. But I think the real pressure will come when they find the plane and the investigation that follows.
