QUOTE(entahla @ Apr 24 2013, 03:23 PM) im trying to do ur steps here. but when formatting /sd-ext , it gets an error msg like this : Why do you format the sdcard? I don't think it's a good idea to format your sdcard. I'm using 4EXT Recovery by the way. By any chance you're still S-ON?E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk1p2 any help plz This post has been edited by wlteh: Apr 24 2013, 03:45 PM |

Ok folks...if you wanna try SuperXE then stick with Build 4 coz the new Build 5 has a bug where the signal bar is stuck at only 1 bar. By the way, somehow XDA kinda locked the thread down over some issues with the dev not publishing the source.

Before you get to install any 3rd party ROMs, you need to S-OFF and root your device 1st. Hope this helps. |

XDA has unlocked the SuperXE thread and the dev said that he'll continue developing it. |

QUOTE(queenc @ May 18 2013, 09:56 AM) is this the correct link for superxe build 4? I think that link is meant for Samsung S3. The SuperXE link for our Sensation is this: http://super.in.rs/page7.html http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2184108 |

QUOTE(entahla @ Jun 8 2013, 12:10 PM) flashed supexe build 6. nice and smooth. then flashed sultan kernel and it cant boot. not combatible maybe ? anyone tried ? By right you shouldn't have any problems installing sultan kernel onto SuperXE. Not sure if you've installed the wrong version of sultan kernel coz there are a few versions (ICS, JB etc). The right version for SuperXE should be this -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2035897 |

QUOTE(ralfmars83 @ Jun 13 2013, 08:03 AM) No BCM if default. Use this first. If you have wifi or signal issue after flashing the kernel, then only you can choose BCM. This is what i understand. That's right! However, I've been using the default kernel since day 1 and it's been very stable and having a good battery life with it. |

Most of the time the stock kernels are more stable. Just don't UV too much else that will cause instability too.
