QUOTE(Westley @ Feb 3 2006, 01:33 PM) guesting tat it is some unqualify chip for high speed eg, C25 and PC4000 series. yup, agree with you. that's why the timing is 3-3-3-8. so far, i've tested 2 pair of 3200pro rev1.3 and both also can do 200 @ 2-2-2-5 with prime stable. due to time purpose (3 days), i only can test 1 pair among these 2 pairs. 275 @ 2.5-3-4-7, 2.8v is pretty stable under memtest (standard test) & sp2004. whereas 280 with the same timing only memtest stable but failed under sp2004. as a conclusion, with this frequency & timing, the bandwidth is higher than my gskill utt bh5 which is running 255 @ 2-2-2-5. QUOTE(Westley @ Feb 3 2006, 08:12 PM) gsan, what voltage u do to test for 2-2-2-5 @ 200? my pair can do on 2.6v only default voltage only for normal use like online, listen song and watch movie. 2.8v or higher voltage to run memtest & sp2004 stable.

ahpaul82, there is a funny thing with my ram. no matter how i tune the ram, it never can run 2.5-4-3-7 and only deal with 2.5-3-4-7.. actually the ram is running stable 285 with the same timing & voltage in memtest86 but still failed under sp2004 with shorter time (if i'm not remember wrong, should be fail within 3hours). so far, only 275@2.5-3-7 pass all tests included superpi32m. and the ram is now return back to the owner.

Got rev1.2 for the 3200pro LED ? Tak sabar nak tengok result . Tested 2 pair of the same ram, both also 3-3-3-8 but rev1.3, able to do 200 @ 2-2-2-5. One of the pair fully stable at 275 @ 2.5-3-4-7, 2.8v. whereas ahpaul82's one rev1.4 can do 290 @ 2.5-4-3-7 memtest86 stable. This post has been edited by gsan: Mar 9 2006, 09:49 AM

QUOTE(lichyetan @ Mar 10 2006, 08:17 PM) recently brought a cooler master musketeer, sticked the temp sensor to my corsair twin x pro series ram after OC... 2.75v@250Mhz@2.5-3-4-7 the temp bot 45c during memtest... are you sure? my utt (255@3.5v) with copper ram sinks but without any cooling fan, during memtest, up to 47'c. QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Apr 10 2006, 11:59 PM) I wonder what cause/factor i cannot make the XMS PRO stable at dual channel mode ? Each stick run Prime95 12hours no problem, but once put together in dual channel mode, Prime will failed after 1hour... any idea to help me ? you mean in default or ovecloked condition? be mind that single channel is always clocked better than dual channel.
