seriously, who is using the companion in here?
what is the real function?
i got this Boar Companion, but it's damage is uselss..
can't brain what issit for..

i use templar companion, purpose it to heal me and block enemy from coming to me while i kill them all damn nice with the collision added make companion tanking more useful

I think boar is for 1 player, where you got boar and hireling to tank for you while you hit from afar.
Other than that, its not very good.

There are more details for the skills (especially the weapon dmg scaling percentage) in the official site.
It says companion does 30% dmg (wolf does 60%), so pretty much not worth it other than keeping your enemy busy.

If you analyze it from dps pov, it does damage, which is arguably very offensive for a defensive skill, if you are "the best defense is good offense" kind of guy.

btw
Late game dh needs lifeleech so desperately, either through skills or weapon properties.
If not, later when you face waller/vortex enemy will gg.

i think i made u confused,
it's the animal companion i meant.
the one where we get when using our skill..

No need. Just need to manage your positioning well. I don't die to waller or vortex. Its those buggers that charge and teleport that are hell >: (

You try to fight them on Hell mode when they have 100k+ health fuuuu

I went DEX all the way for Act 2 only but it wasn't enough for the last boss in that act.

Level 54 reporting, currently in act 1 hell mode. I died the least amongst the other players even if they are higher level, cause I use ninja skill

Meh, ferrets are crap. Negligible damage and I have a pickup range of like 22 yards.

I only just realized how important +magic find is after bosses drop lame loots 3 runs in.

Apparently doesn't work in later difficulties. The current solo method in Hell is Electric Bola + Impale. With 1H-XB you can throw 3 bolas 1 impale alternating for maximum DPS. All things considered that Act IV has the easiest boss..well I'll find out soon.

Also Sharpshooter + Impale = 25k crit lmao.

Invulnerable+health link elites = fuuuuuu...
demon hunter being a ranged hero cant do a damn thing.

the only workaround is fear, will temporarily break the invulnerability.

DH need some INT in hell and inferno mode right? For health globe.

What does INT have to do with health gloves? Yes you will need INT.

My damage is around 2.5k but when my fan of knives successfully hit enemy. My overall damage reduce to around 1.6k and slowly increase back. Is the skill meant to be that way?

Oh.. Not only fan of knives.. Don't know how my skill works..

How does DH dps works??? I have same lvl 1h with same dps as 2h ....

so when i equip my 1h x 2, it is far better than 2h + quiver?
