Nightmare mode is a joke so far. Took me less than a day to get to Nightmare. Been trawling around for good stuff now.
Be 60 by tomorrow or so.
Edit: Lvl43 now lulz. Working on act 2.

Take Twin Chakrams. Period.
Hungering Arrow with Puncturing Arrow is the best single target DPS for DH because it can infinitely proc so you could have arrows piercing bosses non-stop.
Chakram + Bat companion means you have 7 hatred regen. As of now I can throw Chakrams endlessly so farming is easy.
I'll report back later on how hard the next difficulty is.

QUOTE(Eiensakura @ May 18 2012, 02:42 AM) My friend had a damage rating of like 2k at lvl41, dunno how he pump his stats sia. DEX, Flat damage increase, critical damage, attack speed, critical rate all contribute to your damage rating. This is mine at the moment. P.S: That's not alot. Regular elites in Hell have around 100k health now and 2hko me if I'm not careful. This post has been edited by ZeratoS: May 18 2012, 08:53 AM

QUOTE(rayz1031 @ May 18 2012, 11:08 AM) My DH spamming twin chakram and bola shot, waiting to get the electrocute bola shot, gonna be nice spamming those at boss fight. My bow atk speed is at 1.70 but the dmg is kinda low. All the bow I saw or pick up have lesser atck speed, anyone got better bow than 1.60 atk speed?? Not until higher tier. Cluckeye has 1.58~1.60 attack speed. They may have lower rate of fire, but they make up for it in raw damage which contributes to your skill damage. If you are using skills like chakram, then faster RoF is better but for high hatred cost skills like impale, its better to use 2-H crossbow or bow with high attack.

QUOTE(rayz1031 @ May 18 2012, 11:35 AM) I really like bow with high RoF, can spam faster chakram. I managed to get 4-5 hours game time daily, not sure how long it takes for me to get to your lvl 30 odd hours of play maybe? A week then, fairly reasonable. If you like high RoF bows...may I present to you my favourite bow of all time: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/item/windforce

QUOTE(ahtun9 @ May 18 2012, 11:54 AM) i find shadow power useful, and preparation with 3rd or 4th rune.. regen hp and refill discipline one vit surely important, but with our low armor.. i think not much diff lol.. Smokescreen does the same thing but gives you immunity. Why would you pick Shadow Power?

QUOTE(nightshade_nova @ May 18 2012, 05:26 PM) btw Late game dh needs lifeleech so desperately, either through skills or weapon properties. If not, later when you face waller/vortex enemy will gg. No need. Just need to manage your positioning well. I don't die to waller or vortex. Its those buggers that charge and teleport that are hell >: ( You try to fight them on Hell mode when they have 100k+ health fuuuu

QUOTE(nightshade_nova @ May 19 2012, 02:54 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « lul diablo is too easy with dh+monk even on nightmare.with electric bola, you could permastun the 3rd phase of diablo with just right click cos his attack animation took about 3 sec, which is plenty enough to proc the stun. Apparently doesn't work in later difficulties. The current solo method in Hell is Electric Bola + Impale. With 1H-XB you can throw 3 bolas 1 impale alternating for maximum DPS. All things considered that Act IV has the easiest boss..well I'll find out soon. Also Sharpshooter + Impale = 25k crit lmao.

Recent upgrade to my gear yielded quite a substantial improvement to my DPS. Soloed Azmodan in <1 minute. P.S: That is without sharpshooter. This post has been edited by ZeratoS: May 20 2012, 01:37 AM

What does INT have to do with health gloves? Yes you will need INT.

It calculates damage, crit, crit damage, attack speed. The damage from the off-hand weapon doesn't count to my knowledge, you only gain a 15% IAS boost which is why dual wielding yields lower damage.

QUOTE(dopp @ May 20 2012, 11:24 PM) Dual wield yield more dmg, thats my whole story. When you get a better quiver you'll see that Dual Wield sucks terribly. There has been no instance where my damage has gone up as a result of dual wielding. Maybe when I get 2 800dps crossbows we'll see.

f me. I caved in and purchased a 840dps weapon for 2m.
At least it was worth the upgrade. Act II Inferno elites are relatively easy now.

QUOTE(dlct87 @ May 21 2012, 09:51 PM) so regarding the smoke screen, which rune you guys prefer: longer invi time or less discipline require to cast? Do the math. 1 sec is worth 7 discipline. Which is more efficient to take?

DPS upgrade after some crucial purchases, most notably my hand crossbow which cost me a whopping 2m. Act I Inferno is basically like Normal mode for me now. Act II however, is a totally different ballpark. Nothing will help you survive there. Edit: 197% MF is with Nephalem Valor 5 and Fortune. This post has been edited by ZeratoS: May 22 2012, 10:12 AM

QUOTE(fawked @ May 22 2012, 10:23 AM) Thank for this tip man. I always thought the skills were preset lol! Quick question guys, once I socket an item, can the gem be removed? Or it's like D2 and cant be removed once socketed. Can, anytime @ Covetous Shen and its cheap. Don't worry about removing as Perfect Squares (R8) drop by the boatloads in higher difficulties

Both my smith and shen are 10 so..but 20k per gem is mad. I have too many slots to fill

QUOTE(azmie_83 @ May 22 2012, 10:55 AM) Pfff.... that some dmg you had. Anyway, dual hand crossbow vs crossbow + quiver, which one is better ? Depends. What do you intend to do? Quivers can get higher crit rate from a legendary quiver. Dual Crossbows have better speed. If you plan to use on hit effects like life on hit, then obviously this is better.
