I have been thinking about swapping Overpower to Revenge, the only stopping point for me is Revenge is chance based for activation, whereas Overpower is not. Call of ancient is my escape route when i am being mobbed or need the extra damage for bursting down hard elites. I used to use Berserker, and compared to it, i die lesser after switching to call of the ancient and have better survivability overall.

I agree on the all resist thought, need more of it. Somewhere around 700-800 AR will probably makes a big difference and a change of weapon with more LoH will probably also help me get thru A2 and A3.

I have been toying with Bash and Cleave, and notice Cleave with Whirlwind, resulted in me clearing mob much faster than Bash and Whirlwind. I am also thinking of swapping out Boon of Bul-Khatos with Ruthless for more DPS, since the cooldown reduction versus the mob, don't usually last more than 1 rotation of Call of the ancient, having more DPS will probably make me more efficient.

All in all, the current built i have works out pretty well. I can do A2, but have it is just not as efficient. Anyway, i will give your suggestion a go and see how it does. Thanks.

Agree... strength/chc in shield allows some DPS modifiers as off-hand. + I'm loving the survivability which increases your effective DPS in game

My 1H+shield build barb with 90k dps... not even a room full with Fallen Maniac can kill me and there's nothing I can't kill atm. Hopefully there will be more barb with shield in the future. Welcome any barb who wanted to farm or have a look at 1H + shield farming efficiency

I jelly your 34% block chance SS too bro amiranna haha.. sure DPS can be increase slowly by upgrading as you play the game more often. I got my helm, amulet and belt from my own drop which boast quite a lot of dps. My DH friend traded the axe with me for a Manticore I found.

Thanks bro Madgeiser, I support and salute all kinda barb build as barb's a very diversify class. There's classic tank, Hulk smash DPS dual-wielding, tornado, 1H + shield like myself etc. Just go for build which suit your own play style and how you wanted your barb to be... don't need to follow a specific specs precisely as it might end up not being the style of play you wanted.

To be honest I have better gears in my stash just in case PVP is around the corner, swapping those will bring me to over 100k dps on 1H + shield build and 41% block chance with around 48k hp and 850-950 AR. I'm very much looking forward to be competitive in that field once it's up... for now I'm just using a trash Lacuni to enjoy the 12% MS fast moving around map. Don't need 100k dps unbuff and more hp vs minons from hell anyway.

If bro mobajobg is asking which particular ONE gear I rate as my fav... it would always be my beloved Stormshield~!

I'm also aware that there's many 1H weapon which is more godly I can acquire anytime... but this axe have a sentimental feeling towards my D3 exp and it's the first legendary/set drop after patch for my farming team. So I'll keep using it unless I need a better one when PVP is up.

Sorry I missed that earlier question bro yuhhaur. Basically LOH works directly with aspd and which primary attack you uses in game. A high LOH 2 hand is a must to be competitive comparing to a 1H weapon with half the LOH as 1H usually have high aspd. For barb, Frenzy is the best modifiers for LOH as it +75% aspd after 5th stacked so you're basically doing more then half LOH once it's on 5th hit. If you plan to use a 2H weapon... 1800LOH is good enough. Of course it's always modified better if you have other armor with +aspd / +LOH. Hope this help.

yea, I am aiming atk spd in other gears. my barb still lvl 56 so I got 4 lvl to prepare. I just need a barb that is tanky enough to finish inferno. Focusing Monk too much in farming can't let go.

Sorry. Forgot that need to hit something when landing to generate fury with leap.

I'm just another barb like all members here bro~! Hopefully my own maths/build will enlighten some who's still deciding which to end-game with or as a starting point in inferno vice-versa. Don't worry bout having 45k dps bro, you have high AR and overall good defensive stats which means your in-game DPS is very effective as you can tank longer then those who have lower defensive stats but higher DPS. I would prefer your balance build over high DPS low survivability barb any given day~!

Especially for a 2H build barb to counter the lack of aspd on the weapon itself. I understand and had a peek on your monk too haha.. as long as you enjoy playing the game, farmin with your monk is totally not a problem as who knows you might find a Skorn for your barb during your next run~! For increasing survivability on a 2H barb, you can go for a lifesteal barb mighty belt, stack some life regen on armor and of course.. the ever reliable armor/AR.
