If i understand ur question correctly.

But I saw someone mentioned that dps doesn't matter for offhand weapon, only focusing on other important stats such as loh, crit dmg, sockets etc, it works just like shield. That's why I'm confusing and need more clarifications b4 I buy any weapon replacement for my offhand.

true, u might not see the diff in dps, but it still affect ur stat ma.
Just imagine u reduce ur 800dps weapon to 400dps weapon, dps might reduce -3000. so even u use ur WW build, ur dps will be lower but u might not notice it.

Just ignore the stats plz, my question is all about the weapon damage on offhand, not about stats.

Maybe I should explain more about my gears and build. Right now my barb is dual wield, both weapons have about 800dps, 8xxloh and socket, I'm thinking to sell one and get an offhand replacement which has more crit dmg. Look around at GAH, there're some weapons that suit my need, but most of them have low dps(less than 400dps), that's why I want to know about how the dps works b4 buying any weapon.

Wah... now u realize learn tornado style really repair alot... ones mistake wait die... I so noob lol.., gear I have, skill tornado still learning, do u any sifu can teach me step by step tornado skill means wwind...?

I think the tornado from sprint use only the main weapon dps but the LoH from the offhand still count . Thats why people use low dps but high LoH for the offhand when using the tornado build.

Guys, i got barbarian with 25k hp, 4k armor and around 3k dps only... Is it enough for act 2 hell?Sometimes when i met elite cant cope. My resistance very low. Only level 54 right now. Can diablo senior teach me a little?

YTD dropped a 7xx dps 1H with base 61%crit, 8x str, 5x vit, socket. Is this useful enough?

The figures is roughly as I don't remember.

at L53, which one is better?
dual wield
1H 23X dps with 4XX LOH, decent stats
1H decent stats
(this gives me 4k dps)
or 2H hammer @ 7XX dps with decent stats too but no LOH
(this gives me 10k dps but no life steal n LOH)

Can be a good off hand since got base crit. Can add another 80-100% crit gem, then main hand get loh with higher crit dmg.

imo lah, depends on ur playstyle

if u dont mind draggin the fight longer abit, go for the 1 hand

if u want to one shot shit and get on with it asap, but higher risk with aspd slower, go with 2 hander

10k dps u can tapao ALOT of shits one shot at hell man

but the 10k dps got no LOH n life steal.. sienzz

why would you be worrying about LoH or lifesteal when you are one shotting almost everythin? need hp just pot or set your lifesteal passive can already

Just lvled my Barbarian as my 4th 60 char yesterday.

My gear is not that great (saved up from other toon's drops) but able to complete Act 1-2 within one night.

Hp: 36k
Armor: 9.7k
LOH: 890+
Life Regen: 1420 (Dont ask why i stack regen, it just appear in a lot of the cheaper gear)
AR: 600+ (without war cry)
Block rate: 19%
Crit chance: 21%
Crit Dmg: 117%
DPS: 17k

I have no problems with healing myself or standing in fire.
Im just having problems with mobs that hit super duper hard.
(Like the giant berserker before Magdha or champion pack Golgors)
Most of these mobs have super slow atk speed, i can recover back to full health in between their slow atks. But if i get CC'd (fear. frozen etc) ,my health pool is too low to take consecutive hits. Only Wrath of the Berserker can save me from this problem.

Not sure which path to go. My gear is kinda mid range tanking and dps right now.
I like tanking but tanking items are crazy expensive. Justice Lantern or Stormshield itself can pay for the gear of my other characters.

I dont understand why Barbarian gear is so bloody expensive.
Theres only 1 strength based class in this game and yet the gear is more expensive than a wiz or DH.
