I don't know about others but this is how I play (Lvl 60)

Skills in my shortcut bar:
1. Serenity (4 seconds invulnerability rune) <--- Allows you to tank
2. Breath of Heaven (+dmg rune) <--- Heals you and gives u additional 10% dmg
3. Wave of Light (Explosive light rune) <--- imba AOE dmg + knockback, allowing u to cabut (0 CD)
4. Mantra of Healing (Regen 3 spirit/sec rune) <--- Heals you + regen spirit (0 CD)
5. Way of the Hundred Fists (Spirit generator rune) <-- Highest DMG AOE punches, and last hit will knockback enermies
6. Cyclone Strike (Spirit reduction rune) <--- suck all enermies to you (0 CD)


Tactics
Generally for 1v100 (PVE):
1. Cyclone Strike (Spirit reduction mantra)
2. Way of the Hundred Fists (Spirit generator mantra)

Keep repeating 1,2,1,2.... until enermies die. Most of the time those mobs can't even move cuz of the knockback

IF too many mobs and can't kill fast enough, use Wave of Light (Explosive light mantra)

HP around 35K. With breath of heaven dmg rune includded, about 10K dmg

My HP was like 40k, and dmg was also actually higher but with these gears my elements resistance damn low. So although now new gears give lower HP and DMG, my resistance all 300+ which I think better la

yes i do. but in nightmare i dont dare to use cyclone liao. instead i knock everything back to prevent them from using fire chain and pick them off one by one.

btw, seven sided strike with stun rune so nice to use vs nightmare diablo. haha...

once i reach lv60 then only ill concentrate on my build - tanky/dps monk
else ima just go dual wield

i dont because i find it easier to just get all resistance from EQ, and then use the passive for something better (beacon for CD reduction, seize the initiative for more armor via dex, then last slot for resolve -% dmg dealt from enemies, or guardian's path for dodge %)

lol cc resistance from hell/inferno. (75% hell, 100% inferno, so your stun in inferno only lasts 0.x seconds)

also, in hell/inferno more often than not you will immediately die after your 7 sided lol (despite the awesome "immunity" provided by 7sided)

Trust me even with 50K HP, elites or just a pack of normal mobs in Hell will kill you in just few hits. SERENITY is the only reason I can stay alive

lol cc resistance from hell/inferno. (75% hell, 100% inferno, so your stun in inferno only lasts 0.x seconds)

Another tactic I use:

Cyclone then immediately serenity, spam punches. When serenity runs out, use helicopter + 25% movement speed to RUN lol

I'm gonna roll another DH to farm gears for my Monk since DH can share the Monk gear.

Inferno act 1 already die don't know how many times due to elite mobs

what is this helicopter thing? hahaha...

i'm only level 46 killed diablo coop with a wiz fren in nightmare. cant progress to hell cos level too low. lol...

i keep changing tactics, seldom use the seven strike. only vs nightmare diablo it seems quite effective. right before it summons the bone cage. stun him kao kao and crit his arse. might change to something else in hell/inferno. also for the first time i use deadly reach + 3rd strike 170% shock rune vs diablo and his nightmare gangs. LOL...quite effective at times. died too many times vs chain fire thingy so came up with ciplak tactic.

Monk quite hard jugak solo in hell.

U know before u face diablo in act 4, u will have to descent down few levels right. The mobs there totally tabao-ed me.

At the end I just helicopter-ed (with +25% movement speed rune) from first entrance until diablo lol

he is most likely referring to tempest rush, which i have it on for pure tanking. useful on pulling my ass out during shitty vortex/teleport/waller rare/elite packs :/

oh...i see the skills quite funny the animation. havent really utilize it. haha..still experimenting diff skill combo vs elite mobs. this game quite fun la...let's you think a bit sometimes. haha...

I actually discovered this VERY USEFUL for running away skill (tempest rush) during my fight with iskatu (hell)

Died so many times soloing that boss before i discovered this VERY easy strategy in killing iskatu.

1. Rush to corner (so all mobs are infront of u)
2. Spam Way of the Hundred Fists
3. When iskatu comes, Wave of Light (Explosive light rune), then on serenity and spam punches on iskatu.
4. Serenity finish, TEMPEST RUSH my arse and run from corner to corner until serenity CD finish. Repeat 1-4

Took around 1 minute from (selecting quest --> killing iskatu). Rewards = 60K exp, 2/3 magic items, sometimes rare and gems

Did this from 57 --> 60
