I think at most they should have increased repair cost to 2x-3x only. Not 4x-6x.
Especially when the gold drops didn't increase, but decreased instead.

Come on repair cost + inferno nerf. To be honest I would rather have inferno to be unerf since its very easy now. But since they already 'nerf' it, they have to add something to make the game a little more difficult. There goes repair cost.

Another reason (obvious one) you die often + high cost to repair > pointing to Auction House to get better item< they want you to use AH frequently > lead to RMAH < profit.

As for those who didn't die, 4k is very cheap after all the non stop drop you can get after 5 stack of nephalem.

i die one time repair 10k, mostly 2-3times above 22k

aiyoyo, i can survive well (solo) at inferno act 1, then i burit itchy go act 2, the first mob outside the city already can ko me. really sad... any build or playstyle to recommend? haiz... so hard to play.

Look for about 6000 armor and 600 resist and you should be able to power through entire act2

i can sleep through act 3. but lol looks like fatass ghom is buffed

i haven't tried 1.0.3 yet, i tried act 2 during last saturday. i now have about 15k dps after death reach, 3k armor, and 22k hp, with 380 resist. dunno how to earn gold and not much time to play.

5000 armor also cant tahan last week...

u need higher defense ratings.

try at least 600 all resst and 6k armor for act2.
and play like a chicken too.


i haz 43k health 725 all resist, 5.8k armor. 16dps after buff.
act2 elite packs with crazy affixes still can kill me. sadding.

probably need 1k all resist and 10k armor to be safe.

i leveled a dh to level 60.
retired her.

brought my monk back into action.

nerf liao but some act2 elite packs still hurt me though.
but now i am able to stack 5 NV and go rape butterfly witch.
she dropped a crappy blue ilvl63 2-handed polearm 598dps +102dex +244int
wanna try give to my Eirena but she no rikes polearms

I just finish Azmodan yesterday with my Barb Friend.

Tonight might want to finish Diablo.

Dont need 1K Resist and 10K Armor, finish Azmodan with 800+ Resist with 6K Armor, 32k HP and 16 DPS with 1880 LOH.

u haz nice 1.9k life on hit mar. i dun haz. i can only spam 3 healing skills and hope no run into crazy elite packs.

What I did to my monk after nerf.

Reduce my vit equipments and replace them with high dex equipments or equipments with crit rate/ crit damage.

Immediately bought a shield yesterday with 150 base dex, 9% crit chance with 1 socket and a ring with 150 base dex + 1 socket after server was up yesterday and got my base damage back to 33k.
